Story
Lynn is a beautiful 1-1/2 year old female (possible) Doberman Pinscher mix who was brought to the HSOV on September 10, 2024 by a Good Samaritan who had found her on Mitchells Lane in the Marietta Ohio area. Lynn was wearing a collar, but there was neither an id tag nor a dog tag on her collar .. And she was not microchipped. Lynn has a sleek black short smooth coat with tan shading on her chest/legs, a small patch of white/black on her chest, a rather long body, a long tail, and an adorable face with dark brown eyes, tan eyebrows, a long slender muzzle, and large ears that she occasionally holds erect. This young lady was understandably a bit confused and nervous when she first entered our shelter, so our HSOV kennel techs/staff gave her extra TLC in a quiet area of our shelter for several days. These pictures of Lynn were taken on the afternoon of September 16th when HSOV Kennel Tech Emily Beaver spent time with her for outdoor photos. Lynn was much more relaxed and responded to Emily's gentle encouragement .. And she was soon 'sitting pretty' for many of her photos. It was touching to see Lynn looking for guidance from Emily (and to see her giving Emily some great hugs and nice 'puppy kisses' before she was returned to her floor crate in the garage). Lynn weighs approximately 50 lbs and walked fairly well on a leash with Emily by her side. In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Lynn was held for three days so that her family would have an opportunity to reclaim her with proof of ownership. Sadly, nobody called or came looking for this beautiful girl. Update: Lynn went home with a foster family on October 2, 2024 who offered her a temporary home where she will enjoy the freedom of a real home environment instead of a shelter kennel. If you are interested in giving Lynn a permanent home, please complete/submit an HSOV foster- or adoption application for approval .. And we will arrange a meet-and-greet with her foster family.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Dolby has Dilated Cardiomyopathy (DCM) - LLHello there! My name is Dolby. I  came from a county shelter to the beautiful Olive Branch,  in hopes of a chance of finding my forever. I'm neutered and also up to date on all my vaccines along with preventatives, my heartworm/Lyme/erlicia/anaplasmosis test is all negative, but I have been diagnosed with Dialated Cardiomyopathy (DCM). It is where the left ventracle of my heart is not pumping blood efficiently. I am on a long term medication that will help my heart function correctly I know that with this condition there is no cure, but I would love to find someone to spend my precious days with and give me all the love that I deserve. I love to run and play outside. I also give lots of kisses and am very  affectionate. I get along well with other dogs, but if you have any furry friends I'd like to meet them before entering your home. I walk well on a leash and like to take walks. I may even be a couch potato if you'd let me. If your interested please take the time and head over to our website (www.olivebranchwv.org)  and fill out an application... Story
Odin is a sweet cuddly boy. He is 14 months old,and has tons of energy. Regular exercise is required, as Dobermans are smart, active dogs. Very athletic. He needs a new home because of a badly broken leg. My leg, not his...lol He comes with an extra large crate, leashes, collars, toys etc.
