Story
Lily, or as her foster mom calls her, Lovey is a soft, sweet and precious girl with loads of love to give and an unmatched attentiveness to her people. The cutest thing about her? She loves to hug! We believe that Lovey is a Doberman, Rottweiler mix, she is a rescue, so her exact lineage cannot be guaranteed. Lily Lovey is estimated to be around 3 years old. Get to know Lily here: https://youtu.be/EovVE1aId00?feature=shared Lily currently resides in a quiet countryside home here in Texas with her loving foster mom. She loves her outside time, and likes to roll around in the grass. She’s learning basic commands from her foster mom, and even has a good grasp on hand commands! Her foster mom reports that she loves to snuggle, and has great house manners. She seems to be potty trained and doesn’t have indoor accidents in her foster home or at the rescue. Lily is still learning her leash manners, but with a little polishing, she’ll be a pro on leash in no time. She’s food motivated and takes treats gently. With other dogs, Lily is gracious and kind. She’s not jealous when other dogs get attention, she shares love well. She’s not overly playful with other dogs quite yet, but that may change in a home. Lily is playful with her humans and adores toys. She likes her stuffies the best but loves tennis balls too. Lily is ready to meet you, and knowing her- it will be love at first sight. Lily meets everyone with sweetness and affection. We could see Lily living in a home with other dogs, or as an only-child, soaking up all of your affection. Lily would love a home with a yard because she so values her outside time. We are willing to test Lily with anything you need us to in order to ensure she’s the perfect match for you! We can make most anything happen! Just let us know. Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress! Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet. The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded. It doesn’t stop there! Story
Maggie is the playful, gentle, friendly dog that you dreamt about when you were a kid. Just the right size to hop in the car and go, the kind that makes you laugh by just being her playful self, right by your side, and the first one your guests want to see when they walk in. Sorry, it had to be said, she is going to be popular in the friend group. She has a presence that just fits right in and feels lovingly familiar. Estimated to be just over 3 years old, Maggie strikes the perfect balance between sensible and mature with a young-pup enthusiasm for all things fun. Car-rides, dogs, chase, walks, snacks…all things Maggie declares fun and fun is her favorite. Don’t worry though, fun does not mean busy. She knows how to chill. In fact one of the first things I fell in love with about her is how quickly she brings herself back to calm following a moment of excitement. Whether she got excited about meeting a new dog or getting a belly rub, she goes from whole-body wiggles to sitting at your feet in literal seconds, on her own. That level of self-awareness and self-regulating is impressive and often takes time and training to achieve. You will see it in her get-to-know Maggie video here -https://youtu.be/RYypMdIXWuo Maggie has earned a very coveted Office Dog gold-star at our rescue office for being perfect free-roaming company, welcoming when someone comes into our directors office, with a perfect sense of when a stretched out nap is on the schedule. Our director shared that one of the cutest things Maggie does is while she is at her desk typing away, Maggie will gently position her head so she can nibble on her ring to suggest maybe its time for a play break. She understands when to wait though, never pushy she may give you another nudge to be sure you won’t take the bait then she will go lay down. Plus, and almost most importantly- Maggie is fully house and crate trained. Whether allowed to free roam for stretches of the day or crated during construction projects in the building, she has never had an accident. She is perfect, I could stop there and she would be a 10 out of 10. Maggie was introduced to a handful of dogs, varying sizes and energy levels, so we could see her play style and the type of dog she enjoys most. Just like people, dogs have preferences and types. Her “type” is best described as a mid-level energy male who enjoys chase but doesn’t mind that she will almost always win. While we introduced her to dogs, in a variety of ways, we saw that her enthusiastic friendliness can sometime lead her to bark at approaching dogs, almost like she is saying “ hey, wanna play?” She is attentive to correction and easy on-leash, so with a quick reminder that we don’t “yell” at our friends, she will be right back to quiet companion. When approaching people she gets equally excited at the possibility of pets and belly rubs but you won't hear a bark, you will see the excitement in her body as she wiggles and sometimes melts. The body language is clear, I am friendly, pleased to meet you and ready for a belly rub or kiss. Your choice. This was in fact the same way she approached a 4 year old she was meeting for the first time. She was mindful of his size, gentle and calm, while letting him know she was open for love. What we loved seeing was how she allowed him to put his arm around her neck and even though she wanted to kiss him and shower him with love, she held it together and let him lead. He made her biscuit and cheese sandwiches, according to him they are her favorite, and it honestly took him forever in dog-waiting-for-treat time, but she sat there patiently waiting for her sandwich then took it soooo gently when it was served. Seriously!? Maggies love of play and connection is best suited for kids 5ish +, she wants to interact and engage, play and make memories. The ideal home for Maggie would be one with a yard and a medium energy male dog to romp around with. She’s happiest in a home with a yard and would love a medium-energy male dog to romp around with. While she’s full of love, Maggie isn’t a match for dogs smaller than 25lbs +/-, cats, or farm animals—she just finds them way too interesting and her eager approach to play is not for them! If you’re looking for a dog that is going to make you laugh, feel deeply loved, and be your dog's bestie- Maggie is your girl! Questions? Story
Rooster is located in TEXAS. There are not enough homes for all the unwanted dogs down there, so he is willing to relocate for a good, loving, forever home. This handsome boy was found as a stray running out in the country. He is approximately 7 months old and weighs 45 pounds. He will probably weigh in the 60-pound range when fully grown. We are not sure of his breed mixture but think he may have some lab and Doberman in him. Rooster has a great personality and disposition. He loves all of the other rescue dogs, big and small. He loves people and will lie at your feet whenever he can. He loves water and the garden fountain is his favorite spot to hang out and keep cool. Rooster is a very sweet and goofy puppy. He is pretty much house-trained and runs to go outside with his buddies. He will need some leash training and would probably do better with a harness. We have no idea of how he is with cats. Rooster loves to run and play with his dog friends and toys. He may not be suitable for a home with small children because he may knock them over when running and playing. Rooster needs a fully fenced-in and secure yard. He will be a great dog for hiking or going to the dog park. He is an active boy and will run around the yard with a toy in his mouth playing tag with his buddies. He likes to be the leader and have everyone chase him. Rooster would do well either as an only dog or with other dogs.. Rooster is a healthy and happy boy. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, (DAPP, Bordatella, rabies, canine influenza), and microchipped. He is receiving monthly heartworm and flea/tick preventatives. Roosters' adoption fee includes the cost of ground transport to Kent, Arlington, or Bellingham WA. Rooster is fostered by our friends at Shaggy Dog Rescue and cannot be transported until after he is adopted. Please send an email to 2manydogstx@gmail.com if you are interested in adopting this good puppy. If you are on Facebook, PLEASE visit and LIKE our page: www.facebook.com/2ManyDogsRescue

Story
In March of this year, so many of you came together with generous donations to help support Tank’s leg surgery and rehabilitation after he was hit by a car. Donations made a huge impact into getting him into surgery and providing him weekly follow-up care at Boundary Bay Veterinary Specialty Hospital in Bellingham. One of our valued staff members made the weekly trek to Bellingham and also was his foster as he recuperated from his injuries. Below is what she shares about Tank: “Tank is a sweet and playful young dog. He is very goofy, and loves to cuddle. He appears to be housebroken, but does have accidents when left alone for longer periods of time. He gets along well with other dogs as well as cats. He can be timid around new people, but as he is very food motivated so it is easy to win him over. He seems to be more nervous around men rather than women, but he has come around to some of the men in his foster home. Earlier this year, Tank was hit by a car, he then underwent surgery to repair his pelvis and left rear leg. He’s received several hours of physical therapy to help regain the use of his leg and the potential adopter will need to be committed to his remaining recovery. He is eager to run and play! At approximately 86 lbs, he is in need of a home with a fenced yard at least 6 ft, and owners that can be home most of the time to help with the remainder of his recovery. Tank is still currently in his foster home so, if you are interested in meeting with him, please give the shelter a call at (360) 678-8901 or send us an email for to learn more.”

Story
Meet Easton! He is currently 12 weeks old, 13 lbs, and we think he may be a miniature pinchser/Lab mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! Based on his current age and size we think he will be medium sized when full grown. Watch Easton's video here: * coming soon * Easton is playful, sweet, curious, and cuddly. He loves to play with his sibling and then take lots of naps. Eat, sleep, play, repeat - such is puppy life! Easton is still young so he will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. His new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/6761ad34a91f9c836508885f Please email tim@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Available for adoption in NV, MT, CO,UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $1,200.00 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW or the NE at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there!
