Story
💥Attention Doberman lovers!💥 This beautiful dog is Molly AKA "Moosey." She is a spayed 2 year old Dobie looking for her new family. She gets along with other dogs, kids, and cats. Molly was relinquished because she needs structure and basic obedience training. She is a high energy working breed, so an active dog-savvy home is a must. Molly would love if her new home were interested in a dog sport- check out the video of her learning her first agility obstacles! She is housetrained, walks well on a leash or longline (doesn't pull!), knows "sit," and comes when her name is called. She is a true gem of a dog who becomes quickly attached to her person. ❤️ Molly is the best of both worlds: fun, athletic and outgoing -- while being a snuggly "velcro dog" at home. Story
Vicky Dee is a PUPPY! Just 10 months old - she will thrive in obedience training and does well with other dogs or as a solo pup with plenty of attention. Doberman (red with rust markings) appears to be a purebred with a docked tail and naturally floppy ears. Dewormed, Vaccinated, Spayed, Microchipped and on prevention - she is ready to be someone's Valentine in 2025. FOSTERED IN TEXAS. *Adoption Fee includes transport to PNW, Midwest or NY-NJ-CT-VA-VT states by pet transport partners. Email to Apply! Adopt@CaffeinatedCanineRescueTx.org --------------------------------------------------- See more Photos, Videos and Updates on Social Media Facebook.com/CaffeinatedCanineRescueTX Instagram @CaffeinatedCanineRescue --------------------------------------------------- HERstory: We got an alert of a young Doberman in a backyard during the freezing temperatures. The Owners agreed to surrender her to rescue. They did take her to the vet and addressed all needed juvenile vaccines and deworming - they were just not prepared for a large breed. They have smaller dogs in the home but as she grew and needed more attention, her family put her outside then scolded her for digging and chewing. Vicky loved being with the children but without training, her jumping and constant pleas for attention caused frustration.

Gypsy Dawn is looking forward to her next chapter; She is a strong and healthy 3 year old Doberman who seeks companionship among humans and is attending play groups to help her warm up to doing big dog things. Gypsy is agreeable and gentle, avoiding conflict but will growl to ask for space with other big dogs. She weighed in at 75 lbs at her last vet visit. She does not jump on people or bark, housetrained, crate trained and loves car rides. Favorite Toy: NylaBone Wishbone Favorite Snack: Chewy Meatballs Favorite Color: Navy Blue Doberman (black with rust markings) appears to be a purebred with a docked tail and naturally floppy ears. Dewormed, Vaccinated, Spayed, Microchipped and on prevention after heartworm treatment - she is ready to be someone's Valentine in 2025. FOSTERED IN TEXAS. *Adoption Fee includes fee by van transport to PNW, Midwest or NY-NJ-CT-VA-VT states by pet transport partners. Email to Apply! After ensuring she gained weight, started treatment for heartworms and got regular exercise; she became too big and strong for him to manage. Story
He is still young at heart -just a teenager- and working on being on a leash, under socialized but affectionate and trusting of people. Sometimes he barks when he first meets people, which scares them, but he wants affection. He loves to be outside, he will bark at birds and clouds. Crate trained and fostered with other dogs, he thrives with other dogs to follow. This petite blue dude appears to be a blue Doberman - DNA tests say he is majority Dobie with some Pittie. Vaccinated, Neutered, Microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention. Abandoned in an apartment with other dogs, Cobalt was fearful of everything and desperately needed kindness and patience. Story
Commander Bo is a stunning strong blue Doberman with cropped ears and a docked tail. He has the 'look' that everyone loves - however, even he ended up abandoned in Brazoria County. Bo was skinny, poor coat, heartworm positive and with an URI when we met him. He was quick to take meals and guarded his food/treats initially. With time, he took treats gently when reminded and would be gentle with his foster humans. Due to Bo's size and assertiveness, older children would be ok. Bo needs to be given directions otherwise, he will do whatever he wants. He appears to be around 6 years old and future medical needs will include dental care. Bo rides nicely in a car and likes to go for walks, leash training is new to him, but he listens to confident adults. He is used to being the biggest dog around, so he does play with other dogs - mainly females and a few younger puppy males. Bo will challenge other strong willed males (bulldogs, alphas, chihuahuas) by barking and lunging. Based on Bo's need to be the 'Commander' of the pack - he would be best in a home with female dogs, big girls who will play with him. Bo is crate trained and enjoys a large comforter for curling up. He has not shown interest in toys. His play style is very juvenile and the other lab puppies tolerate his nipping and mouthy (grabbing by the neck) play. We suspect he did not have other dog friends before or this is his first time being encouraged to 'be a dog' and play supervised but unrestricted. We would not recommend dog parks for older dogs like Bo who lack some social clues and see most dog behavior as threatening. He can be introduced to dogs who will be part of his family or regular playmates, supervised for corrections. There is no doubt, Bo loves people and attention. He gives hugs to his foster mom and has quickly learned 'sit' - a necessary command since he would headbutt people out of excitement. He is housetrained but will mark. Vaccinated, Neutered, Microchipped, heartworm treated-on prevention. Story
Christopher is thriving and now showing all of his Doberman potential - his paws, height is back on track to be a tall big boy. He is working on potty training (just needs a schedule to keep from accidents), socializing daily with big dogs. He is crate trained when his foster is away but enjoys dog beds and napping on the couch. Christopher has a healthy appetite for play - he empties the toy box multiple times a day to find squeakers, drag ropes around, lick stuffed animals and chew on bones. Fawn (light brown, with rust markings) coloring typically do have sensitive skin/coats. As he appears to be a purebred Doberman with a long tail, floppy ears. Dewormed, Vaccinated, Neutered, Microchipped and on prevention - he is ready to grow in a forever family in 2025. Adopt@CaffeinatedCanineRescueTx.org --------------------------------------------------- See more Photos, Videos and Updates on Social Media Facebook.com/CaffeinatedCanineRescueTX Instagram @CaffeinatedCanineRescue --------------------------------------------------- HIStory: Christopher was found wandering a industrial area in Houston. He appeared to be just 5 months old, based on teeth - losing his puppy teeth and with mostly adult teeth. His small size is likely the result of poor nutrition. Rescue dewormed him aggressively and addressed bacterial infections before seeing an improvement in his appetite. His coat was blotchy and with a skin infection, he was started on antibiotics. He needed time for his gut to recover on quality food while healing his skin. Now he is Thriving and Growing!
