Meet LUCA — part sweetheart, part survivor, and 100% good boy. (He’s really part Doberman, part Weimaraner). This guy was literally dumped on the side of the road, but luckily a kind-hearted family scooped him up before life could get any worse. Turns out Luca is about 18 months old and has a little quirk—he’s blind in his left eye. He has been to an animal ophthalmologist (yes, that’s a real job and honestly sounds pretty fancy), and the verdict is it’s congenital and doesn’t slow him down one bit. Seriously, he doesn’t even notice. He’s got manners too—house trained, leash trained, knows his commands, and even throws in a few tricks to show off. He does seem to have some aggression towards other dogs, so he is requesting that he be the only Doggie King in the house please. He does not have experience with cats so it is not known if he will accept a feline friend. Luca has shown zero aggression towards any human, although he has not spent alot of time with small children, however he listens well and is a gentle giant with people.

Meet beautiful Emma aka cuddle bug! She is apprx 5 yrs old & will be your best girl with a little patience & time to adjust! On the smaller side at around 56 lbs, easy to handle too! She can be shy initially with new people & situations but has really blossomed in her foster home & enjoys walks, car rides & local shopping outings! She will do best in a home with another dog for confidence. She's potty trained & crate trained but the crate isn't her favorite, she prefers a baby gate- she hasn't been destructive at all. Someone home part-time will be very beneficial for Emma. Sudden hand movements spook her but once trust & a bond is established, she does so much better. She's super smart, a fast learner & knows several basic commands. Bones is 4 yrs old, male who is a sweet & silly boy! A gorgeous boy who gets all the looks! But he's not just another pretty face, he's smart & a total lover! He is potty trained; he's great with female dogs 15 lbs & larger but can also be great in an only dog home. He's done good in playgroups with multiple dogs but can't live full-time with other males in his same home. He's also crate trained & seems to be doing well staying loose in the home for short periods. Bones is a wonderful boy but does get overly excited when he sees people & other animals through windows (car & home) but that's just a teaching & learning opportunity so he will need continued reactivity & impulse training we have started in his foster home- he is already showing great potential!
