****This dog is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas**** Sometimes dogs just find their way to the safety of our program, and such was the case with beautiful Tilly! Found in the culvert alongside our kennel, sweet-natured Tilly took her rescuing into her own paws! True to her Doberman lineage,Tilly is both highly intuitive and docile but not without bursts of energy. Easygoing on a leash, and with excellent housekeeping behaviors, this bright and bubbly young lady would be an excellent companion for the outdoorsy types and homebodies alike! Tilly is accepting of cats, and while her experiences are limited seems to enjoy the company of respectful dogs as well. Sadly, as is the case with most dogs that enter our program, Tilly is heartworm positive but will be undergoing treatment very soon and will be ready for a forever home shortly after that. Story

Sheila is a funny, playful, affectionate 8 month old Doberman Pinscher/German Shepherd mix puppy who is full of spunk and personality! She can be a bit timid with new things at first, but her true self comes out within minutes! Sheila weighs about 45lbs currently and will likely be about 55lbs fully grown. Sheila was found as a stray and brought to our local high kill shelter where she was placed on the euthanasia list for being scared. Shy, scared dogs usually face a bleak outcome at our severely overcrowded shelters, and that's the way it was looking for poor Sheila. Luckily, we were able to rescue her and have gotten to see what a sweet girl she is! Sheila has a lot of that standard puppy energy you see in dogs her age, but she knows how to reel it back in if she's starting to get too crazy. Being part Doberman and German Shepherd, Sheila is a very intelligent girl and learns quickly. She is a goofy and affectionate little girl and loves to cuddle and be pet! Sheila plays very well with other dogs and seems to get along with just about everyone. She can be a little forward sometimes which can be intimidating to some dogs, but she takes corrections well and is learning to be calmer around the dogs who are more shy. Sheila is crate trained, mostly potty trained, walks fairly well on a leash, is good with other dogs, kids, and people of all kinds. She would prefer to have a canine sibling in her new home, but this is not required for her to love her happiest life. All she really needs is a family to call her own and lots of love! Sheila is located in Houston TX but can be transported to most US states for adoption.
