This playful, zoomie-loving boy absolutely thrives outdoors — whether it’s running laps in the yard, exploring land, or just soaking up fresh air. A home with a big backyard (or even better, some acreage!) would be a dream come true for him. Speedy is potty trained and does well with structure and routine. He’s very vocal and expressive — he’ll happily let you know when he’s excited, wants attention, or sees something interesting outside. He would do best in a home where someone is around most of the time, as he truly bonds with his people and doesn’t love being left alone for long stretches. He isn’t a fan of bikes or motorcycles, so a calmer environment without frequent loud street traffic would suit him best. Bobbie recently came to us with a fracture in her front leg, which means she’s currently rocking a splint while her bone heals. The good news? She’s already making progress—Bobbie has started walking around again and is gaining confidence each day. Right now, Bobbie’s main job is simple: rest and heal. She’ll need to stay on activity restriction while her leg recovers, which means no running, jumping, or rough play for a while. Her splint will be checked and changed regularly to make sure everything is healing the way it should. Bobbie is smart, expressive, and a little dramatic about new situations. She has shown some alarm barking around other dogs and can feel anxious when left alone, but medication has already helped her relax and settle. With patience and structure, she has all the potential to blossom into a wonderful companion. Even with her temporary injury, Bobbie’s spirit shines through.
