Saddie is such a sweet girl and still full of life, I got her when I was 16. She is currently going on 8 years of life and I’m trying to keep that going. My living situation won’t allow me to have her unfortunately and has been a really hard decision. I want saddie to have a good home, she is a one pet person and doesn’t do well with other pets anymore. But she is the sweetest to people and babies. She would be an excellent guard dog!! or just a house dog to snuggle with!

The adoption fee includes spay/neuter surgery, microchip, rabies and other core vaccinations. Please complete an adoption application at https://www.asvtexas.org/adoption-application.html. Rowdy is a very active Doberman/Shepherd mix ready for her furever home. She is very playful and loves to snuggle. She is house, crate & leash trained. She has learned the basic training commands and is progressing well with with more advanced training. Rowdy is very eager to please and very intelligent. ASVT does not have a facility; all of our adoptable pets live in volunteer foster homes until they are adopted. No one takes a salary so all donations and grants are used for the rescue animals. January 18, 2026, 8:33 pm

Story
Sheila is a funny, playful, affectionate 8 month old Doberman Pinscher/German Shepherd mix puppy who is full of spunk and personality! She can be a bit timid with new things at first, but her true self comes out within minutes! Sheila weighs about 45lbs currently and will likely be about 55lbs fully grown. Sheila was found as a stray and brought to our local high kill shelter where she was placed on the euthanasia list for being scared. Shy, scared dogs usually face a bleak outcome at our severely overcrowded shelters, and that's the way it was looking for poor Sheila. Luckily, we were able to rescue her and have gotten to see what a sweet girl she is! Sheila has a lot of that standard puppy energy you see in dogs her age, but she knows how to reel it back in if she's starting to get too crazy. Being part Doberman and German Shepherd, Sheila is a very intelligent girl and learns quickly. She is a goofy and affectionate little girl and loves to cuddle and be pet! Sheila plays very well with other dogs and seems to get along with just about everyone. She can be a little forward sometimes which can be intimidating to some dogs, but she takes corrections well and is learning to be calmer around the dogs who are more shy. Sheila is crate trained, mostly potty trained, walks fairly well on a leash, is good with other dogs, kids, and people of all kinds. She would prefer to have a canine sibling in her new home, but this is not required for her to love her happiest life. All she really needs is a family to call her own and lots of love! Sheila is located in Houston TX but can be transported to most US states for adoption.

Despite this, Olga remains a loving and social pup who adores everyone she meets. She is learning her leash manners and is doing well with her potty habits. Olga would love a home with a yard where she can romp, play, and enjoy life to the fullest.
