Story
Hi! I'm Shay! I'm an approximately 1 year old, male, Doberman/Shepherd mix weighing about 52 lbs. I was found off Eva Place in Rockwall on 06/15/2024 and sadly never reclaimed. I am a total sun bum! I love to lay out and bask in the warm glow of the sun shine. Inside or outside, you'll find me sunning! I love belly rubs and get along with dogs of all sizes, both male and female. I like fetch and am a very affectionate guy! I love going for long walks and checking out the sights. I am crate trained and would be easy to house train if put on a schedule. I am good with cats and kids of all ages! If you have another dog in the home, a meet and greet is encouraged to make sure we get along. I have been searching for my furr ever home for 160 days as of 11/22/2024 and am now considered a Diamond Dog! My adoption fee is $75. I am neutered, microchipped, current on my rabies vaccination, basic boosters, and heartworm negative!  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. For questions, please call 972-771-7750 ext. 2 or email info@RockwallAdoptions.com. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense. November 22, 2024, 3:08 pm

Story
Tucker     - **Name**: Tucker - **Age**: 2 years old - **Breed**: Doberman - **Gender**: Male (Neutered)   **About Tucker**:   Tucker is a stunning 2-year-old Doberman with a sleek coat and an athletic build that perfectly complements his love for running and playing. This sweet boy has had a tough start in life, not being treated as well as he deserved, but he’s ready to leave that behind and find a loving forever home where he can truly thrive. Tucker is full of energy and would excel in an active home where he can participate in dog sports or other physical activities that keep him moving.   **Special Notes**:   Tucker’s previous experiences have made him eager for affection and stability, and he deserves a home where he will be treated with kindness and respect. He has a strong prey drive, especially when it comes to cats, so a cat-free home would be the best fit for him. Tucker’s new family should be committed to providing him with plenty of exercise and mental stimulation, as well as the love and care he’s been missing.   **Ideal Home**:   Tucker would thrive in an active home with a secure yard where he can run and play to his heart’s content. His ideal family would have experience with energetic breeds and be interested in involving him in dog sports or other physical activities. A cat-free home is essential due to his strong focus on cats. Tucker needs a loving and patient environment where he can continue to build confidence and trust.   **Why Adopt Tucker**:   Adopting Tucker means giving a deserving dog a second chance at happiness. His love for running and playing makes him an ideal companion for an active individual or family, and his sweet nature means he has a lot of love to give. Tucker is ready to leave his past behind and become a loyal, loving member of a family that appreciates his energy and dedication. If you’re looking for a devoted, athletic companion who’s eager to be part of an active, cat-free home, Tucker is the perfect match. ~Although we do our very best to make sure your new pup is in tiptop health before adoption, things could drastically change a month later.  Since we don’t have a long health history of your adopted dog, we can only treat the pet for whatever symptoms present during the initial exam. Health: ***** No obvious issues found during vet exam ***** Temperament: --sweet and affectionate    Adoption: ***** $200.00 ***** ADOPTION APPLICATION: http://www.recycledpoms.org/application -- Email info@recycledpomeranians.com to request a printable application. --   ------Please remember our group is made of only volunteers all of whom have full time jobs, foster fur-kids, and families of their own, so please be patient.--------    November 4, 2024, 11:59 am

Story
Hi, my name is Harley and I am approximately 2 years old. I am a Doberman/ Lab mix who has lots of love to give to a new furever family. I love to play with other 4 legged lady fur friends, I love long walks in the park, playing catch with my foster family and rolling in the grass with my fur buddies. I love toys, especially the ones that squeak. I love my ears and belly rubbed. I am crate trained, that is where I sleep at night because it makes me feel safe but I’ve got to have some blankets to make a little nest. I will let you know when I have to go out and take care of business with a simple bark. I love to do everything you want to do. I just wanted to be loved. I haven’t seen any cats yet with my foster family. I’m good with kids that won’t hit me. I’m current on all my shots and I am neutered on Friday. Harley needs to be in a home with no other male dogs. To meet Harley, please fill out an application! Application available at https://www.pawsofloverescue.com/adoption-application . Adoption donation of $295 includes spay, microchip, deworming, dhpp vaccinations, rabies shot, bordetella nose spray and heartworm treatment with a positive test. Dallas/Ft. Story
Meet Dobby! This affectionate boy is looking for a FURever home where he can cuddle up with his person or family and play fetch. He's very smart and is already housebroken, knows no, listens well, and has a desire to keep learning what you're willing to teach him! He'd make a great partner for someone that enjoys a nice run or jog and then coming home to relax, his preferred relaxation being a nice bone to chew on. He enjoys a nice chase so probably best with no feline friends, possibly a selective canine companion, but has done well with children. If his zest for life doesn't win you over, his adorably large ears surely will! Apply to bring this big boy home today! All Abandoned Pet Project Rescue adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age appropriate vaccines upon adoption. The standard minimum donation for dogs over six months to seven years is $200, puppies under six months is $250, dogs eight years and over are $100 unless specified otherwise. You can view all the adoptable pets and fill out an adoption application online on our website at bit.ly/APPRAdoptableDogs. For more information, you can email adopt@abandonedpetproject.org.

Story
This gentle giant is a laid-back 6-year-old boy who enjoys taking his time to get to know new people and places. Though he may be a bit nervous at first, Anton`s super sweet personality shines through as he warms up. From our observations, he seems to enjoy the company of other dogs and will often approach them with a friendly, wagging tail for some light play and socialization. With a calm and easygoing nature, Anton would likely make a wonderful companion in a patient home. Come meet this big softie today!
