Story
Marlie is 4 yrs old, super sweet, eager to please, great with people. She is crate trained, rides well in the car, walks well on a leash & is potty trained. Marlie is on the high energy side, needs regular exercise & mental stimulation. Although she is beautiful, she is the product of very poor breeding & has had two knee surgeries so exercise doesn’t need to be intense but should be facilitated multiple times a day, such as running in the yard or playing with another dog or swimming. She will do best in a home with consistent routines & a fenced yard where she can run. She is good with male dogs but no cats. Marlie struggles with anxious energy & reactivity to unknown dogs when they are near so training and regular “calm time” help. She is a typical loyal velcro Doberman who craves being near her owner & will be a great go-everywhere dog with continued training & consistency.

Story
Loki is a sweet, happy, smart 2 yr old boy who loves spending time with his humans. He requires daily exercise and the right home with continued training & encouragement and he will be a wonderful companion. With continued help on his socialization he will be able to improve his over-excitement when encountering other dogs/people. He is still immature & does not realize his size & acts like a big puppy. He needs a very experienced owner with large and/or working breeds who understands the need for consistent, ongoing training. He can be a great hiking companion, running partner & just all-around best friend to the right family or individual. He loves to run with his person! He just needs the opportunity to show his goofy & loveable nature & you will be hooked. He rides in the car well, is crate trained and knows basic commands. He still needs time to mature & that is going to make all the difference for this guy. He has incredible potential but only in the right hands. He is specifically available to homes where someone is home at least part-time, as an only dog, OR to a home with female dogs of similar size & to homes with children over 8 years old. He has previously lived with children (7-14 yr old & done well.) His original family had some life changes & could no longer make the necessary commitments to keep Loki. SERIOUS inquiries will either EMAIL us with any questions OR go to our website to submit an application after reading the eligibility infomation. We adopt ONLY to (all areas) of TX and parts of LA, OK, AR.

Story
Nezzie is 18 mo old, likely a herding breed mix- prob a lot of German Shepherd in there. She is very friendly, silly and a fun girl. Sadly, she was rescued from a neglectful owner. She is crate trained, loves other dogs. She is shy initially with new people but warms up quickly. She enjoys car rides & is also potty trained indoors. She is high energy & needs a fenced yard and plenty of time for play & exercise. No cats, and kids over 5 yrs old. She is fully vetted & ready for her new family & forever best friend. She is located in the DFW area but eligible for adoption outside of DFW within a reasonable distance. She is not a part of our program, this is strictly as courtesy listing. If interested, please submit an application through our website & we will forward it to Nezuko's rescue foster so she can follow-up with you.

Story
Meet Aries! This handsome guy is so very special! A total velcro boy! He is 5 yrs old & had such a sad first 5 yrs of his life. He lived alone, isolated in a very small backyard from the time he was brought home as a puppy, all the way until we picked him up in July at 5 yrs old. He had never known life outside of that tiny backyard, heat or cold. But even with that terrible start in life that lasted 5 yrs, he LOVES people, LOVES walks, LOVES toys, has learned to love car rides and loves other dogs! His foster mom has slowly & carefully helped him to experience each of these things plus going to families homes, meeting other dogs outside of his foster home, and he even did great at the vet & all the staff fell in love with him. This guy is one of those extra special guys. But he will need someone to go slow with him with new experiences. And he needs another dog in his forever home he can play with, plus he feeds off of another dog's confidence & follows their lead. He LOVES being inside & he is potty trained. He has not been in a crate but does well behind a baby gate. He is a total gem. ●We adopt to all areas of Texas and parts of OK, LA, AR. ●Serious interest? Story
Ripley a 1 yr old, blue male who is a sweet & silly boy! He's great with female dogs 30 lbs & larger. He's done great in playgroups with multiple dogs but doesn't do well with other males in his same home. He's potty trained & also rides well in the car. He's still a puppy & needs some training but has great potential. He plays well with other dogs & enjoys their company. He is crate trained & enjoys walks. He does require a home where someone is home part-time because although he's great in a crate overnight, he doesn't enjoy daytime crating so it needs to be limited. He's not yet trustworthy left loose in the home & has moderate puppy energy. ■We adopt to all areas of Texas as well as parts of OK, AR & LA. 🛑SERIOUS inquiries will EMAIL us.
