Story
Hello! This girls name is Iris. She was brought how at around 6 weeks old. She is overall an amazing dog. She is extremely well trained as we started training with her around 8 weeks old. She can sit, give paw and wait with verbal and nonverbal commands. She has been around children before but never lived with them. Based on her personality I believe she would get along with children. She gets along great with other dogs, especially small dogs. Her favorite activities are long walks and backyards. She was raised in apartments so when she gets the chance to run in a back yard to herself, she is on cloud 9. Things she does not love are loud noises and petting from strangers. She dog have skin allergies and dog shed quite a bit. She is allergic to poultry. When she eats it, she will get hives on her skin which we usually medicate with Benadryl if it happens. Due to this her diet consists of quality kibble that is labeled with fish instead of beef or chicken.

Story
Charlie is an older dog over 12 years old who has a great disposition who loves to be around people. He gets along very well with children and other dogs/animals. He was rescued as a younger dog and spent a majority of his life with a large family that included another large dog (a female Golden Retriever who later pasted away). Charlie has some benign tumors that do not affect his general health. He enjoys running, whether in a large yard or on hikes or walks with family members. Charlie is being rehomed because the family he spent his time with has had a change in circumstances including the sale of their home, and there is really no one who can provide the time and attention he needs as well as some space for him to roam in. You really will not be disappointed when you adopt Charlie. He really is a one of a kind lovable dog.

Story
Duchess was in a small, high kill shelter when we came across her information. Her eyes were so infected she couldn’t open them and the shelter had posted her as being blind. Our vet discovered that Duchess doesn’t produce tears and the chronic dry eye had been untreated so long her corneas were damaged and infected. This sweet girl was so shut down initially she had to remember what a special dog she is. We are trying our best to save her eyes, she gets 2 types of medicated drops twice a day and artificial tears as often as possible. She’s learned to let her foster clean her eyes and is good about getting her drops. She’s able to see now although not as well as we hope she can as we progress. She will need eye drops ongoing. Duchess now plays with the other dogs in her foster home and enjoys running around her yard. Her very favorite thing is getting attention and spending time with her humans. She just wants to totally devote herself to her human and take care of her family. This girl is a wonderful Doberman and an ambassador for the breed. She is house trained, can use a doggie door or ask to go outside if she doesn't have one. She is fine being left home alone or with her canine friends but would rather go wherever her human is going. She’s great going for rides and would be the perfect travel companion. Duchess is fully vetted - current with vaccines, spayed, on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, and is microchipped.
