Story
Meet Speedy Gonzales! 🐾⚡ True to his name, Speedy Gonzales is an energetic pup with a big heart. This playful, zoomie-loving boy absolutely thrives outdoors — whether it’s running laps in the yard, exploring land, or just soaking up fresh air. A home with a big backyard (or even better, some acreage!) would be a dream come true for him. Speedy is potty trained and does well with structure and routine. He’s very vocal and expressive — he’ll happily let you know when he’s excited, wants attention, or sees something interesting outside. He would do best in a home where someone is around most of the time, as he truly bonds with his people and doesn’t love being left alone for long stretches. He isn’t a fan of bikes or motorcycles, so a calmer environment without frequent loud street traffic would suit him best. Because of his energy level and size, Speedy would thrive in a home with adults or older kids/teens rather than toddlers or babies. At his core, Speedy Gonzales is a loyal, playful, affectionate boy who just needs a little extra love, guidance, and consistency to truly shine. If you’re looking for an active best friend who will keep you moving and adore you endlessly, Speedy might just be your perfect match.

Story
Bobbie recently came to us with a fracture in her front leg, which means she’s currently rocking a splint while her bone heals. The good news? She’s already making progress—Bobbie has started walking around again and is gaining confidence each day. Right now, Bobbie’s main job is simple: rest and heal. She’ll need to stay on activity restriction while her leg recovers, which means no running, jumping, or rough play for a while. Her splint will be checked and changed regularly to make sure everything is healing the way it should. Bobbie is smart, expressive, and a little dramatic about new situations. She has shown some alarm barking around other dogs and can feel anxious when left alone, but medication has already helped her relax and settle. With patience and structure, she has all the potential to blossom into a wonderful companion. Even with her temporary injury, Bobbie’s spirit shines through. Once she’s healed, she’ll be ready to enjoy all the adventures that come with being a happy, healthy pup.

Story
Sweet Tilly was dumped on a busy road in east Austin and rescued by a good Samaritan. Now, she's thriving in her foster home and is ready to find her forever family! Tilly is young and energetic, and loves zooming in the backyard, romping with her favorite stuffies, and playing chase with the dog friends in her foster home. Her foster mom says she is the goofiest, silliest girl who wants to play all day, every day. Tilly is crate trained and working on her leash manners. Her ideal home is one where that she would not be crated all day. She would thrive with a social medium or large-sized doggy friend that could be her bestie, and a big fenced yard to zoom around in, sunbathe, and squirrel watch. She also loves to cuddle with dogs and humans alike and would love to get the chance to make a permanent Tilly-sized indention right next to you on the couch ... it's the perfect place to get those ear scratches she loves! If you need the bestest, goofiest girl in your life, Tilly is ready for you! **Adoptable in the greater Austin, Texas, area only**

Story
My girlfriend and I adopted Hermes from a shelter a couple months ago. He is three years old, smart, and very playful! The shelter said he was a stray before he was taken in, so his interactions with people are awkward but sweet! He wants nothing but to play with and love on everyone. It gets a little stressful for us when he gets excited to play after seeing our cat. The two haven't interacted without a door or gate between them, but he stomps and paces in excitement and we're upstairs neighbors, which isn't a good combo. Hermes knows basic commands: sit, lay down, wait, come here, etc. He loves to fetch anything you can throw and, though we haven't done it often, will also tug-of-war and run. He's good on walks but he pulls when he's excited; he will put slack into the leash if you wait for him to stop pulling. He really is a good dog and we're sad that we have to find him a new home but it's for the best. Any of the caretaking supplies he has will be donated to his new family!

Story
Eli is new to us, so we’re currently getting to know him and are sharing helpful information provided by his previous home and the shelter. This friendly, loving pup enjoys meeting new people and has a way of making fast friends wherever he goes. Eli is housetrained and already knows commands like sit and stay, which shows how eager he is to connect and learn with his people. Treats are a favorite reward, and he’s always happy to show off his good manners when snacks are involved. Playtime is one of Eli’s favorite parts of the day. He enjoys games of fetch, going for walks, and getting his paws on squeaky toys or a good chew bone. Eli has also been playful with other dogs and got along well with another dog in the home, making him a fun companion for both people and canine friends. Above all, Eli’s best qualities are his loving heart and friendly spirit. He’s the kind of dog who enjoys being part of the action, whether that’s heading out for a walk or relaxing nearby after a day of play. If you’re looking for a friendly companion with a playful side and a lot of love to give, Eli could be a wonderful addition to your home.
