Get ready to meet your new best friend!Rizzo aka Rico update: 2yrs, 35-40lb male He's settling in pretty well now after 3 weeks. He does have some allergies that require medicine as of now, but that could always change. He gets along with the 10yr old girl and with 3 of our 4 dogs...the 4th is our alpha female and his dominance starts to show, so slow and steady or he would make an excellent only dog! He plays a little rough so he's learning how to be easy. He loves to chew and is full of energy, so make sure he has plenty of toys/bones to keep him out of trouble! He's a love bug who must lay/sleep on you versus beside you! He's not a huge fan of the crate, but he tolerates it ok. Not good with cats,
Story
Hi, my name is Fury! But I'm more like a happy, gentle breeze that wants to have fun! You might recognize my name from the famous character Director Nick Fury of the Marvel movies, I'm kinda like him: I love being the center of attention and don't like it when people take my stuff! I am a big dog! With my mixed Doberman Pinscher/Black Labrador genes I am a whopping 52#/lbs and have a ton of energy and muscle that needs to be worked! Because of this it would be best if I was paired with an active family who knows how to keep a dog mentally stimulated and respects my boundaries well. No apartment living for me please! No cats or small children either! My caretakers have learned some important things about me: I am a chow-hound and will try to eat anything I can get my hands on! So please leave food out of reach from me or I'll swoop it all up. Secondly, I would prefer if people didn't grab things that I have in my mouth, it's mine not yours hehe! Overall, I am a big-hearted dog who wants to go play, be adventurous, have fun with other people and dogs! I am however not such a big fan of car rides, they make my tummy feel sick eww! I love all people and dogs, am a healthy, happy boy and just want to find my home. Let's work together and find it!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)
