Story
hi Pinja, this sweetheart is a 7 year old doberman. She was surrendered to us from a Lancaster breeder when they no longer wanted her to keep producing puppies. She is about 95 lbs. The scars and bruises on Pinja tell a story of her life so far but she does not hold her past against anyone. She is the most gentle, sweet lady that soaks up all the affection from her volunteers. She does well on the leash and always wants to stay close to us, content just to put her head on our lap and relax. She is a total gem. She would need to meet any resident dogs. She will come spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, 4dx tested. She is also scheduled for a dental evaluation and will receive the dental as the vet deems it necessary. **If you are serious about adoption, please start by filling out the adoption application on our website www.phoenixanimalrescue.com Her adoption fee is $450** Phoenix Animal Rescue Chester Springs, PA Kennel License #5152

Story
Phoenix! This lovely, squishy medium sized (maybe 55 lbs) girl is around 2-3 years old. She was originally adopted from us as a puppy but returned for not getting along with the other pets in the home. Phoenix should be an only pet in her new home, but is a lovely girl willing to give you all her love. She would benefit from a diet and losing a little weight. She is a great girl who is fully housebroken (but may have a few small accidents as she gets acclimated) and crate trained. She would be fine with older, school aged children. Story
ABOUT TID BIT Sadly, Tid Bit was abandoned on our property and we aren't sure why. This gorgeous guy is estimated to be around 3 years old and is such a sweetheart! While we don’t know much about his past, we quickly learned Tid Bit loves to meet new people and greets everyone by leaning into you for love. He loves to play, often seen throwing himself to the floor in the most dramatic, goofy play bow we've seen! Tid Bit has done well with other pups at the shelter, already knows basic commands, appears house-trained, and is crate-trained. The main reason he has been overlooked is due to his anxiety in the shelter, often seen pacing or barking in his kennel. However, this couldn’t be further from his true self! To give him a break from the shelter, Tid Bit has participated in our Doggy Day Out program. Here’s what one of our volunteers had to say about him: “I fell in love with this boy while I was volunteering in the shelter so I was stoked I got to take him home for a few days. This boy is the BEST cuddler you will ever meet. Personal space does not exist in his world, everything you have, you must be willing to share. Another thing I must mention, use caution when he sleeps with you! He will steal all your blankets and will even push you off the bed! Snuggles are a MUST, there is no choice. There also will be snoring and a lot of morning stretches. During walks, if he is not right by your side looking at you, he is following where his nose takes him. Tid Bit is very smart and caught onto routine quickly. He knew when it was time for breakfast and dinner, he would go in his crate and sit very politely waiting for me to finish putting his bowl together. He had no accidents in the house and appears house-trained already! Poor Tid Bit gets so worked up at the shelter and he is so anxious that people haven’t taken a chance on him. To show people who Tid Bit really is, my roommates and I printed a bunch of pictures and hung them up on his kennel!” If you are interested in adopting this dog, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific dog but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! All household members, including children and other dogs, must come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, fecal testing, heartworm testing, and a small bag of food to get you started.

Story
*COURTESY POST* Joker is a charming 4 1/2-year-old Doberman Pinscher currently being fostered through Catskill Animal Rescue in NY. This sweet boy has a lot of love to give and is looking for a dedicated, experienced Dobie owner to share his life with. Joker loves going for walks and being with his humans. He can be around other dogs, but a meeting is required to ensure compatibility. Given his past as a cruelty case where he was kept in a small kennel, resulting in bowed rear legs, Joker needs a home that understands his special needs. Joker is great at following commands and does well on a leash, though he might pull if something catches his interest. He has a tendency to tear up toys but doesn't resource guard. While he hasn't been around young kids, he behaves well around people. Joker is dog selective and only barks when someone approaches the house. Currently in a foster home, Joker is doing well but may have occasional accidents indoors if he becomes anxious. He loves car rides and is happiest when he's close to his humans. An experienced Doberman owner is preferred, and it's important that Joker isn't crated. To apply for Joker, please visit Catskill Animal Rescue's website and complete an application: https://www.catskillanimalrescue.com/app-faq Let's help Joker find the loving forever home he deserves! Story
Meet Gonzo! Gonzo is a sweet and resilient 5-year-old Doberman looking for his forever home. He has been through a lot but still has a heart full of love and loyalty. His foster family describes him as a happy, affectionate boy who adores his people. They’ve been helping him learn leash manners, and he's been responding well to crate training, happily going into his crate and showing his calm, gentle side. While Gonzo is friendly with people, he would do best as the only pet in a home. His high prey drive means he needs a cat-free environment, and he’s shown some food and toy guarding behaviors around other dogs. His foster family has managed this carefully, but for his success and comfort, a home without other pets would likely be ideal. Gonzo would benefit from a family willing to continue his training, as he’s learning quickly and wants to please. Gonzo is ready to find his perfect match. He’s looking for a family who will appreciate his journey and give him the love, patience, and understanding he deserves.
