Miss Midge is a goofy girl who has the best smile for her trusted humans. She responds to her name with a happy wiggle and toothy grin when she knows and trusts you. She is looking for a quiet and gentle home to settle down in after growing up here at the shelter.  Midge has been a go-to in doggy playgroups as she gets along with just about every type of dog. She grows strong bonds with her canine pals and gains confidence with them around. She would most likely thrive in a multi-dog household.  Call the Ranch to see if gentle Miss Midge is right for your pack! Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. While they are with us, each and every rescue dog receives the best of care in a loving and nurturing environment. Their routines include daily playgroups or partnering with dog buddies, quality time walking or being groomed, and two meals a day with dog biscuits for dessert. Shy, gentle Ronnie is looking for a calm, reassuring family where she can continue to gain confidence. Given time to trust, she will blossom into a wonderful companion! Ronnie and her siblings Toni, Reggie, Archie, Dilly, and Midge, all arrived at the Ranch as older puppies, just outside the critical window for puppy socializing. Consequently, it has taken her and her siblings a bit longer to adjust to human company. However, Ronnie has had a great foster experience in a home with lots of other dogs. She knows how to walk on a leash and can sleep in a crate at night. She also knows how to ride in in a car. Give this wonderful dog a little time and patience and she will reward you with unending devotion! Call the Ranch to meet sweet Ronnie today! Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. Meet Claire!  Claire is incredibly outgoing and ready to take on the world! With a little guidance and maybe a canine companion or two, we're sure Claire is going to blossom! She is already eager to please her people and very treat-motivated.  Claire is still young enough to mold into almost any sort of lifestyle and with her enthusiasm to learn adjusting should be a breeze!  Call the Ranch to meet her today!   Rescue Ranch puppies are raised through our puppy foster program. They will have met adults, children, often other dogs, maybe cats. 16-week or older puppies will have taken part in our "Reading to Rescue Pups" program and attended many events. When they are at least 8 weeks old, puppies are given a wellness exam by a licensed veterinarian.  Before going home, all puppies will have been dewormed and received all age-appropriate vaccinations for parvo/distemper, and Bordetella. If they are 4 months or older they will also have their rabies vaccination. All p uppies are also microchipped and registered with  911PetChip . Story
Meet Oscar Oliver Arthur. We were told three different names so we adopted them all. My wife and I decided to rescue four small dogs from hoarding farm in butte falls earlier this summer. Oscar Oliver Arthur arrived and we found out he is blind and deaf. He has a mild eye infection that needs care. We are treating it and but is ongoing. He is curious and gentle, a little skittish at first until he figures out his surroundings. He is treat motivated. He is good around other dogs. We are looking for placement with someone that has a little experience dealing with a blind dog or has patience to learn. Maybe someone that may already have a dog he can become a companion with. There is no fee for him.
