My name is Knight.I am kind of growing up here at SafeHaven as I tend to not be that outgoing puppy everyone is looking for. I am a bit more reserved and anxious but in my short life I truly have not known anything that resembled stability or family. I was picked up as a stray...wandering to find my next meal....and I was only 12 weeks old. I am ready to find a family who will give me the home and attention I deserve and crave...and maybe a good game of keep away once a day:) I have been on doggy day out adventures to the farmer's market, LBCC walking trail, and OSU. At first I was nervous, but I gained my confidence very quickly and really enjoyed my time spent outside of shelter life. I loved meeting new dogs in the community and I was friendly to all the people I met. I am still full of puppy energy so a family who is active would be my ideal home. I am available for Foster to Adopt so that a potential adopter/family and I can get to know each other better during the adoption process. Please consider me when you are choosing your next best friend....I promise I am up for the job!

To gain confidence, SafeHaven has been sending me out on Doggy Day Outings...and I love it. I love riding in the car, going to parks and lounging in the sunshine in the grass, and just being with my person, living in the moment. Everyone who took me on a outing said that it took me a few hours to warm up to them but then I was perfect. Most described me as shy, but such a sweet boy. I think my ideal home would be a quieter home as I am more of an introvert than an extrovert. Maybe you are too? Hi, my name is Fury! But I'm more like a happy, gentle breeze that wants to have fun! You might recognize my name from the famous character Director Nick Fury of the Marvel movies, I'm kinda like him: I love being the center of attention and don't like it when people take my stuff! I am a big dog! With my mixed Doberman Pinscher/Black Labrador genes I am a whopping 52#/lbs and have a ton of energy and muscle that needs to be worked! Because of this it would be best if I was paired with an active family who knows how to keep a dog mentally stimulated and respects my boundaries well. No apartment living for me please! No cats or small children either! My caretakers have learned some important things about me: I am a chow-hound and will try to eat anything I can get my hands on! So please leave food out of reach from me or I'll swoop it all up. Secondly, I would prefer if people didn't grab things that I have in my mouth, it's mine not yours hehe! Overall, I am a big-hearted dog who wants to go play, be adventurous, have fun with other people and dogs! I am however not such a big fan of car rides, they make my tummy feel sick eww! I love all people and dogs, am a healthy, happy boy and just want to find my home. Let's work together and find it!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)
