Story
🐾 Hi there, I’m Tina! 🐶 🎀 About Me: • Name: Tina • Age: 4 years young • Sex: Female • Breed: Doberman mix • Color: Sleek black • Weight: A fit 22 kg 🏡 My Rescue Story: Once upon a time, I was tied up in a village and my owner moved away without me. The villagers didn’t understand how special I am, but thankfully, a kind soul saw my worth and saved me from a grim fate. Now, I’m looking for a forever home where I can share all the love I have to give. 💖 My Personality: • I’m a total lovebug! I adore cuddles and will rub against you like a little shadow. Whether we’ve just met or known each other for ages, I’m all about showing affection. • Belly rubs? Yes, please! I’ll show you my tummy as a sign of trust and friendship. • I’m a bit of a social butterfly with humans, but I need a slow introduction to other dogs. I’m learning that sharing is caring, especially when it comes to toys and treats. • Cats intrigue me, but I’m a good girl and will keep walking if you lead the way. • I love a good adventure outdoors, but I’m also content to chill out at home after some fun in the sun. • I’m learning to walk nicely on a leash, but sometimes I get a little excited. I promise I’m getting better every day! • I’m not food aggressive with my human friends, but I prefer to dine alone without other dogs cramping my style. • I’m potty trained and do my business outside like a champ. 🐕 My Social Skills: • I’m still a pup at heart when it comes to playtime! I haven’t had much experience with other doggos, so I get super excited and sometimes don’t know my own strength and can be a bit aggresive. 🐾 • I’m like a shadow to my walker, following faithfully even when other furry friends are around. 🚶‍♀️ • Dog parks with lots of pups are a bit overwhelming for me, so I prefer quiet walks where I can be the center of your world. 🌎 🐾 Looking for a Human: I’m searching for someone who loves snuggles as much as I do, enjoys leisurely walks, and appreciates a quiet evening at home. If you’re looking for a loyal companion to share your life with, I’m your girl! If you think we could be a match made in heaven, let’s meet and sniff each other out! 🐾💕 Paws and kisses, Tina

Story
Syla is a gentle, polite Doberman who was born in April 2023. She is a young, sensitive dog looking for a family who will help her feel safe and build her confidence. Syla is very smart and good-natured, so we know she’ll catch on quickly while learning life skills such as loose-leash walking and obedience cues. She does well with other dogs, but she can be pushy so patient canine companions with good communication skills would be best for her. Syla is a shy dog who needs a bit of time to adjust to new places and people, but once she does you have a friend for life. We have seen her blossom since her arrival so we know she has it in her.Cats, not testedChildren 12+Obedience & leash training, food motivated and very smartHouse trained, will need help with new routineFenced play area requiredDoberman experienced handlers idealIf you are interested in meeting Syla, please email us at info@uppercredit.com for a questionnaire. Story
Introducing Quinn! This charming girl is about 3 years old with a classic Doberman temperament. She is a social dog who carries herself with confidence and grace, enjoys being with people and will come right in for snuggles. Quinn is active, enjoys exploring, and is a big fan of interactive games such as fetch and tug. She does well with other dogs, and we recommend that she be paired with confident, polite dogs as she does not suffer fools. Quinn needs to work on loose-leash walking and learn commands, however her intelligence and desire to please should make for a quick learner. On arrival she was a bit pushy, trying to steal treats from pockets, but within minutes Quinn figured out that this got her nothing and she adjusted her behavior. Since then she has demonstrated lovely manners because she is a clever dog. Quinn is a lot of fun and will make a wonderful companion.Cats, not testedChildren 12+Obedience & leash training needed, food motivated and very smartHouse trained, will need help with new routineFenced play area preferred, she likes to runDoberman/large breed experienced handlers idealIf you are interested in meeting Quinn, please email us at info@uppercredit.com for a questionnaire. Story
SPARROW is currently being fostered in TEXAS Sparrow is approximately 6 to 8 years old and 19 pounds. As a side note her shelter paperwork states she is 9yr and 11 pounds which is inaccurate). Sparrow was in a very bad shelter after being rescued from a hoarding situation. She appears to be a min pin. Sparrow is missing her right eye and has a scar in her left. This surgery was done by the rescue organization that originally pulled her from the shelter. She has sight in her left eye. Sparrow also had a teeth cleaning, no extra time needed which is why we believe she is more around 6 year ls not 9. Sparrow has been through a lot and has a sadness to her. She is a bit of a lost soul but has a sweet and forgiving heart. Sparrow was very scared her first few days and would scream when we went near here, then bark at us. Once we gained her trust, she was a little love bug. Sparrow is great with dogs of all ages and sizes. I think toddlers would be a little too much for her but older kids would be fine. She is gentle, quiet kind and she wants so badly to love and be loved. She will need some decompression time in her new home and environment but I promise just give her a few days and she will be trusting and wanting and needing of your love and affection and will easily gratefully, return it. Sparrow is a true rescue dog. She has a lot of healing to do. She needs a quiet home with a soft hand and gentle voice. She will walk on leash and harness well once she gets to know you but the first few days she will probably be terrified so some extra precaution should be made for those few first few crucial days of taking her out to potty. A fenced in yard or secured fenced or penned area would probably be preferred for the first few days but if not, you can take her out on a leash and SECURE harness making 110% sure she can not get out of her harness/collar. Approved adopters please send your hold requests to the email you were given. To get approved please visit our website www.texaschihuahuarescuecanada.org to fill in an application to adopt.
