Story
It’s with a heavy heart that I’ve decided to rehome my beloved Doberman, Axel. This decision hasn’t come easily, but due to financial and environmental challenges, I can no longer give him the stability or care he deserves. Axel is 10 months old, incredibly intelligent, and has learned 8 commands, including sit, down, touch, break, stay, and paw. However, he has shown signs of behavioral challenges that will require the attention of an experienced dog owner or trainer. URGENT: Axel needs to see a vet ASAP. I believe he’s in pain, but I cannot afford further vet visits anymore. He's negative for Lyme disease, but could have another underlying issue that needs immediate attention. He thrives with mental stimulation and daily exercise but has shown signs of occasional aggression. Axel would do best in a home with space to run and an owner experienced in working with large breeds are essential.

Story
Hi, my name is Fury! But I'm more like a happy, gentle breeze that wants to have fun! You might recognize my name from the famous character Director Nick Fury of the Marvel movies, I'm kinda like him: I love being the center of attention and don't like it when people take my stuff! I am a big dog! With my mixed Doberman Pinscher/Black Labrador genes I am a whopping 52#/lbs and have a ton of energy and muscle that needs to be worked! Because of this it would be best if I was paired with an active family who knows how to keep a dog mentally stimulated and respects my boundaries well. No apartment living for me please! No cats or small children either! My caretakers have learned some important things about me: I am a chow-hound and will try to eat anything I can get my hands on! So please leave food out of reach from me or I'll swoop it all up. Secondly, I would prefer if people didn't grab things that I have in my mouth, it's mine not yours hehe! Overall, I am a big-hearted dog who wants to go play, be adventurous, have fun with other people and dogs! I am however not such a big fan of car rides, they make my tummy feel sick eww! I love all people and dogs, am a healthy, happy boy and just want to find my home. Let's work together and find it!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)
