Story
This dog was found in Carolina on the road and has been in a friend's care for the last 3 months, he is 8 months and such a perfect baby. We have a 600 square foot house and he needs room to run, we feel awful having to give him up but he needs someon3 who is home most of the time and is very active, he is good and well trained and does not bite just needs somewhere where he can get more exercise.

Story
Hi there! 💟 I’m Janga, a 5-month-old, 35-pound Doberman mix girl. I’m a little shy at first, but once I trust you, I’ll be your loyal shadow! 👣 My journey was hard at first because I had a home, but then suddenly they didn't want Lou or I anymore, and we found ourselves at a big, scary shelter. I came to my foster home to learn and grow, and I’ve already made so much progress! 🌟 Here’s what you need to know about me: I’m mostly potty trained. 🌳 I know that I’m supposed to go outside, but sometimes I get nervous and have a little accident or can't hold it. However, I'm a smart cookie 🍪 and I’m getting better every day! I’m working on crate training, and I do sleep through the night now (yay me! 💤) Though I’m not the biggest fan of the kennel, if you are, I can make that work for you. 🙏 I’m super kid and dog friendly, and would probably be fine with cats, too, since I am a pretty mellow gal! I’m a little more chill than my brother Lou, but when I get going, I play HARD, and who runs the world? Girls! I kick my brother's butt in those wrestling sessions. 🤩 And of course, after playing, I love to take a snooze. 😴 I'm doing well on a leash when we romp down the road for walks. I LOVE keeping myself occupied with my stuffed animals and toys 🧸, but my favorite thing is being with my people and keeping track of everything going on. 😊 Oh, and just like Lou, I’ll totally steal your shoes if you leave them around. 👟 I’m still getting used to everything, but I’d love a dog sibling to help me feel more comfortable and confident. Do you have one that I could play with? 🐶 I’m super sweet and would love to be your cuddle buddy if you'll have me! 💕 I can’t wait to find my forever home where I can thrive and never be abandoned again. 🏡 Could it be with you?

Story
Hi there, I’m Lou! 👋🐶 I’m a 5-month-old, 33-pound Doberman mix, and I’m sweet as honey. 🍯 I came to the shelter with my sister, Janga, after we were picked up from a house that didn’t want us anymore (how rude, right?). But now, I’m all about new beginnings! 😊 Here’s what you should know about me: 💙 I’m fully potty trained – no accidents here with a consistent routine! 💩 💙 I love kids and get along with other dogs, too! 💙 I’m crate trained 💙 I do well on a leash (and am getting better every day). 🐾 💙 I absolutely LOVE stuffed animals and toys, but don’t be surprised if I steal your shoes when you're not looking. 👟 Oops. 💙 I’m silly, playful, and definitely more energetic than my sister Janga (who’s a bit of a toy thief – but I’m super sweet and let her have whatever she wants). 💙 After all that play, I nap HARD. 😴 And snuggling? Yes, please! I’m a pro at cuddles. 💕 ❔I have not yet met any cats, so it’s hard to say how I’d do with them. 🤔 So what do you say? Will you adopt me so that we can be best friends forever?! 🤩

Story
It’s with a heavy heart that I’ve decided to rehome my Doberman, Axel. Due to severe financial issues, I can no longer give him the stability or care he deserves. Axel is 11 months old (intact), incredibly intelligent, & has learned 7 commands; however, he has shown signs of behavioral issues that require the attention of an experienced dog owner or trainer. He thrives with mental stimulation & daily exercise. Axel would do best in a home with space to run & an owner experienced in working with his breed. He’s NOT a lovey dovey dog, he doesn’t like to cuddle. His ways of affection are mainly through play time. - Crate trained at bedtime & sleeps 10-12 hours. Not as crate trained during the day. - Recalls need work. - Unable to go to a home with kids/other pets for now. NO cats - Has been properly socialized since he was a puppy.

Please contact the Dog Team (dogcoordinator@graspinc.org) for more information about this pet.Meet 85lb, 7.5 year old Doberman Raymond (Ray Ray)     His foster family is enjoying getting to know him, so far we know he’s dog friendly, teen friendly, LOVES toys, has good house manners, is house trained, crate trained, is good on car rides, knows basic commands, loves chewing a good bone, enjoys snuggling on the couch with his people …and get this, he wipes his own feet when he comes inside!     Raymond has a lump on his side that has been tested and doesn’t need to be removed. He is dog friendly but would also be just fine as an only dog…no cats for Raymond.    Raymond is neutered and up to date on vaccines.   To apply, https://www.graspinc.org/dog-application  March 11, 2025, 7:52 pm
