Story
Aislin is a shy girl that was born and raised outside, free to roam with little human interaction. She is cautious but sweet and just wants to be loved. Your first guess might be Vizsla, but her mom is a Boxer and dad is a Doberman. Please give this girl a chance. She was a great mom & cared for her 3 pups splendidly. She is currently going through Heartworm Treatment and is only available as a foster to adopt. Stray Paws Rescue covers treatment and supplies until she tests negative and the adoption can be completed. She receives her last injection at the beginning of October. **If you would like to adopt, please fill out an adoption form which can be found on the animal's profile page at www.straypawsrescue.com

Story
Hi, my name is Fury! But I'm more like a happy, gentle breeze that wants to have fun! You might recognize my name from the famous character Director Nick Fury of the Marvel movies, I'm kinda like him: I love being the center of attention and don't like it when people take my stuff! I am a big dog! With my mixed Doberman Pinscher/Black Labrador genes I am a whopping 52#/lbs and have a ton of energy and muscle that needs to be worked! Because of this it would be best if I was paired with an active family who knows how to keep a dog mentally stimulated and respects my boundaries well. No apartment living for me please! No cats or small children either! My caretakers have learned some important things about me: I am a chow-hound and will try to eat anything I can get my hands on! So please leave food out of reach from me or I'll swoop it all up. Secondly, I would prefer if people didn't grab things that I have in my mouth, it's mine not yours hehe! Overall, I am a big-hearted dog who wants to go play, be adventurous, have fun with other people and dogs! I am however not such a big fan of car rides, they make my tummy feel sick eww! I love all people and dogs, am a healthy, happy boy and just want to find my home. Let's work together and find it!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Story
Red here, and do I have a story to tell, and it is not always happy ;( I was dumped at the pound after being shot in the back leg. I am an absolute doll, so none of my rescuers really understand how someone could do this to me... I am literally only 8 months old. So despite my ruff beginning, I am a survivor and I am THRIVING in the rescue! I love everyone, I am playful and silly and all goofy BIG puppy. So my back leg was broken when shot, and it has been healing. The rescue's vet has determined that my leg is healed to the point that even though it is kind of crooked with a bump at my hock, it wouldn't benefit me to have it rebroken to repair it. I use my leg and my only limitation would be that I cannot be a running dog- I can however be a playing dog, I can be a cuddling dog and I can be a goofy dog. I am a Doberman and will likely be 75-80# full grown. And my new family needs to know my breed :) I am ready for a wonderful family to adopt me! I love everyone and am great with other dogs and all people. So hurry up and adopt me!! Local adoption fee is $300 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $650 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Flynn Ryder is a remarkable young Rhodesian Ridgeback who has overcome incredible challenges with grace and resilience. Despite losing his hind right leg to cancer at a young age, Ryder has not let this setback define him. His outgoing personality, intelligence, and overwhelming friendliness make him a joy to be around. Ryder's love knows no bounds, as he adores all animals and is quick to shower people with kisses. After a day full of adventures and play, Ryder's favorite thing to do is snuggle up with his loved ones. He is crate trained and has mastered basic obedience, showcasing his determination and eagerness to learn. Ryder was diagnosed with bone cancer which resulted in a rear leg amputation at 12 weeks old. He is currently showing no signs of cancer but it potentially could return at some point later in his life. The loss of his leg has never slowed him down, he has always been the happiest and sweetest of boys and can run just as fast, if not faster than the other dogs in his foster home. Ryder's foster describes him as the most affectionate and loyal companion she has ever met. He greets everyone with the sloppiest of kisses and is always wagging his tail. His ideal home would be an only pet home or a house that has another dog that likes to play. He does well on a leash and is almost completely potty trained and is crate trained. Ryder loves to go for car rides and to just be included. If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out a pre-adoption questionnaire and my foster can plan for us to get together and meet! You can go to www.nttsars.com to fill out the questionnaire under "Available For Adoption" > How to Adopt". Someone will get back to you soon!!   As always, my adoption fees include Spay/Neuter, Microchipping, and Up to date vaccines (while in shelter).November 5, 2024, 12:33 am
