Story
Doberman Donatella came to us from a breeder where she was relinquished by no fault of her own. This is a nice girl who is good with other dogs & with people. She is very sweet but would benefit from some basic obedience and confidence building. Her birth date is 03/05/24 and she currently weighs 41#. She will not be adopted out for protection and she is just as sweet as she can be. She has been vet. checked, spayed, micro chipped, is up to date on routine shots & wormings including rabies, and has been treated with flea & heart worm preventative per our protocol. Her adoption donation is $800 and needs to be cash, certified check, money order or a debit/credit card. There is a 3% processing fee when using a debit/credit card. Please note that any additional funding collected for this pet goes back into our medical acct. to provide for other dogs in need. We do not ship or transport. Please email for an application if you would like to provide this nice kid with her forever home. ##2161990##

Story
Silas is a super sweet and fun 4-5 year old Doberman Pinscher with natural ears. He’s incredibly affectionate and loves nothing more than cuddling up with his favorite humans. This smart boy is a quick learner and has already learned sit, paw, come, down, wait and leave it. He still needs some leash training as he gets over excited when he sees other dogs on walks. He was slowly introduced to his foster brother and gets along great with him. Sometimes they play a little rough and need to have a time out. He would do best in a home with older children. We prefer a home without small dogs or cats.  Silas is looking for a home with a fenced in yard where he can run around. His favorite game to play is fetch.  He is housebroken, crate trained, utd on shots and neutered.  He would make an awesome companion. If you’re interested in Silas please email  tntndobes2@gmail.comNovember 4, 2024, 5:59 pm

The Animal Rescue Project (www.animalrescueproject.org) is committed to the best possible veterinary care for the pets it rescues and it is looking for adopters who will be similarly committed. Adoptions are NOT first come, first served! We seek to choose the best fit for the approved adopter and pet. Please understand that these animals are still new to us and their needs and requirements can change at any time as we learn more about them. We will try our best to get them updated online as soon as possible. All dogs and puppies are given a general check-up when they enter our program. They receive medication to remove any intestinal parasites (worms), fleas, and ticks they may have. Dogs greater than six months of age are checked for heartworm. If heartworm positive, the Animal Rescue Project treats the disease. Dogs and pups receive all age-appropriate vaccinations for distemper, and dogs greater than four months of age are also vaccinated for rabies, in compliance with State of Michigan laws. All dogs are also microchipped. Most dogs and older puppies are spayed or neutered before adoption. In the case of puppies not old enough to be safely sterilized, a $50 deposit is required at the time of adoption and is refunded to the adopter with proof of sterilization. The Animal Rescue Project requires every adopter to establish an active relationship with a veterinarian no later than 10 days after adoption. Adopters will receive a plan for routine veterinary care at the time of adoption and are expected to work with their vet to complete the plan.
