Story
Nala is a 15-month year old purebred Doberman. We adopted her from a family when she was 4-months old. We are hoping to find a new home for her with parent(s) that are able to provide her with an adequate amount of daily exercise that a dog of her breed and size requires. She successfully completed 6 weeks of private board and train programs (2 weeks when she was ~5 months old, and 4 weeks when she turned 12 months). She is not spayed, and that decision will be up to her new parent(s). She is a beautiful and sweet young lady without an aggressive bone in her body! She is a goofball with a spunky personality :)

Story
Tall, dark, and exceptionally handsome, Howie seeks a forever home. Pal's Place rescued this stunning, unique-looking pup from an overburdened and overcrowded animal control facility in Kentucky. He's now in a fantastic foster home in Chicago, patiently waiting to meet his forever family! Originally found as a stray and never claimed, Howie's past and breed mix is a mystery, but our 75-pound lovable derp is a young adult, estimated to be between 2 and 3 years of age. A genuine super mutt, appearances suggest a melting pot of several breeds in his lineage, but we suspect some Doberman, Weimaraner, Great Dane, and possibly Coonhound can be found somewhere in his family tree. Without a DNA test, we cannot be sure of his breed mix, but we are sure that Howie is 100% Good Boy, and he'll be the most fantastic, loyal, and steadfast companion for one lucky household. Howie is an easy-going, adaptable, and social dog that will fit in readily in most homes. He is terrific with other dogs of all sizes and also good with children and dog-savvy cats. He's not aggressive with them but does attempt to play with his feline friends, and not all kitties welcome or appreciate invitations to play from large dogs. Howie is also quiet and well-behaved in the home, housebroken, crate trained, and knows his basic commands. He's neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm tested (negative). He is also taking monthly heartworm and flea preventatives. Howie is ready for his next chapter and anxious to meet you! His adoption fee to the rescue is $375. He's being fostered on Chicago's north side, and meetings can be arranged by appointment once an application has been submitted to Pal's Place and approved for adoption. For more information or an application, please visit palsplacerescue.org or email palsplace1@hotmail.com • Howie's adoption fee is $375. This donation helps to cover any necessary medical care to prepare him for adoption. Pal's Place relies solely on donations to care for the animals in our rescue. Your donation also helps save other animals like Howie from euthanasia at open-intake animal control facilities. • Please visit palsplacerescue.org/adopt or email Palsplace1@hotmail.com for an adoption application. Put the dog's name in the subject line. Please check your spam or junk folder; sometimes, our correspondence and applications end up there! • All of our dogs are in foster homes and can be seen BY APPOINTMENT ONLY after an approved application has been received. To receive more info, please email palsplace1@hotmail.com. Email is the preferred method of contact and is the quickest way to receive a response. We cannot place holds on our dogs; please do not contact us until you are prepared to adopt.

Story
Silas is a super sweet and fun 4-5 year old Doberman Pinscher with natural ears. He’s incredibly affectionate and loves nothing more than cuddling up with his favorite humans. This smart boy is a quick learner and has already learned sit, paw, come, down, wait and leave it. He still needs some leash training as he gets over excited when he sees other dogs on walks. He was slowly introduced to his foster brother and gets along great with him. Sometimes they play a little rough and need to have a time out. He would do best in a home with older children. We prefer a home without small dogs or cats.  Silas is looking for a home with a fenced in yard where he can run around. His favorite game to play is fetch.  He is housebroken, crate trained, utd on shots and neutered.  He would make an awesome companion. If you’re interested in Silas please email  tntndobes2@gmail.comNovember 4, 2024, 5:59 pm

Story
Doberman Donatella came to us from a breeder where she was relinquished by no fault of her own. This is a nice girl who is good with other dogs & with people. She is very sweet but would benefit from some basic obedience and confidence building. Her birth date is 03/05/24 and she currently weighs 41#. She will not be adopted out for protection and she is just as sweet as she can be. She has been vet. checked, spayed, micro chipped, is up to date on routine shots & wormings including rabies, and has been treated with flea & heart worm preventative per our protocol. Her adoption donation is $800 and needs to be cash, certified check, money order or a debit/credit card. There is a 3% processing fee when using a debit/credit card. Please note that any additional funding collected for this pet goes back into our medical acct. to provide for other dogs in need. We do not ship or transport. Please email for an application if you would like to provide this nice kid with her forever home. ##2161990##
