Meet Rico! He is currently 5 months old, 25 lbs, and we think he may be a Doberman / Lab mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! We think he will be less than 50 lbs when full grown, a perfect medium size. Meet Rico, the tiny leader of the pack, with a heart full of spunk and a nose for adventure. As the most playful pup of the bunch, he's always leading the charge in games and playtime, turning every moment into a fun-filled romp. Whether he’s chasing after his siblings or bounding around with endless energy, Rico’s enthusiasm is contagious! Watch Rico's video here: https://youtu.be/fYh86J-1fOI But don’t let his fun party side fool you—after all the excitement, Rico loves nothing more than curling up with his favorite humans or snuggling with his siblings for a cozy nap. He’s got a soft spot for giving sweet puppy kisses, spreading love wherever he goes. With his playful puppy antics and affectionate nature, Rico is the perfect mix of energy and cuddles! Rico is a smart little guy too. He's already potty trained and crate trained, giving him a solid foundation for you to build on. He is dog, kid, and cat friendly, making him an easy addition to any home. He would do best in a home with a yard where he can run, play, and sunbathe to his heart's content. He is currently fostered in a loving foster home that is dedicated to setting him up for success with socialization and basic training. Apply today to add this cutie to your family! Story
Darling Dakota appears to be mostly a Doberman (black with rust markings, docked tail with naturally floppy ears) and identifies as a ‘velcro’ big softie. She appears to have had puppies in her past, being aged by our vet at just 2 years old. Youtube Video: https://youtube.com/shorts/z0Hdgx4Rtnc?si=KhJ_lzdpEA1wFbmN Housetrained, crate trained and loves car rides. She is fostered with big dogs, small dogs and cats without any issues - she is agreeable and friendly with everything. Her foster sister, a big pittie, enjoy napping while supervising their foster mom working from home. Dakota has not been jealous or possessive, no resource guarding. Vaccinated, Spayed, Microchipped and on prevention after heartworm treatment - she weighs in at 78 lbs. FOSTERED IN TEXAS. *Adoption Fee includes fee by van transport to PNW, Midwest or NY-NJ-CT-VA-VT states by pet transport partners. Adoption Fee reflects the need for an XL crate at travel. Story
Indy quickly becomes everyone’s favorite Dobie due to his agreeable nature and persistence to live life to its fullest. He spends time lounging on his orthopedic dog bed between meals, barking if breakfast is late -then barks to announce its time to check the yard and stretch our legs. Happy to sunbath and monitor the other dogs, a peacemaker - he will bark to tattle on the dogs not playing nice. He has some white hairs and scars around his face, skin tags and one unruly ear crop - he is neutered, Heartworm treated and on prevention. Required treatment for skin and respiratory infections at intake. His blue coat is still growing back. He showed signs of neglect and had been abandoned as just a skeleton of a dog. Given a clean bill of health - he is adoptable (approximately 6 years old). He is on joint supplements and encouraged to continue to exercise to regain muscle. Story
Carter is one special character - he is a red Doberman with a docked tail, floppy ears and medium build (healthy weight 60-65 lbs). Carter loves playing; rough housing, tossing toys, running and bouncing around. His 'special' character is his complete lack of maturity. Poorly socialized, but we also suspect, Carter was dropped on his head as a puppy or maybe fetal alcohol syndrome, his goofy face shows some developmental signs (eyes are too far apart) but otherwise, he's just HAPPY and DUMB. He is dog friendly, will let other males dominate him or push him down. He can be nippy due to his constant state of puppy - not mean, other dogs correct him. His foster has been working on his nippy, teethy grab for treats and awareness of hands. He needs a yard to run and downtime inside in a kennel with his stuffies at naptime. Due to Carter's low IQ - we recommend a home with older teens so no one gets mad that he takes fingers with treats when overstimulated. Training will take time, repeat and focus - maybe even a few beers for his humans. Carter SMILES the entire time and is happy to be in training, but retains little. Dobermans are known for their incredible ability to learn and observe to teach themselves. Carter identifies as a Lizard some days, other days as a Chicken. We have tried to explain to him, his amazing breed and the expectations. We want him to be LOVED for his goofiness. Favorite Color: HOT PINK Favorite Toy: Stuffed Bear Favorite Food: Meatballs by Milo's Kitchen HIS-STORY: This dude was kicked out of his home for being 'too puppy' - the shelter called rescue and it was noted, Carter did not know how to walk on a leash, was not house trained or used to any commands. He was in 'play' mode all the time and happy to have dog friends. Crate trained to force some routine and sanity at his foster home, Carter has matured (slightly) and has (some) manners. Now neutered, up to date on vaccines and heartworm treated (he tested positive at intake). FOSTERED IN TEXAS. *Adoption Fee includes transport to PNW, Midwest or NY-NJ-CT-VA-VT states by pet transport partners. Email to Apply! Adopt@CaffeinatedCanineRescueTx.org Video Link with Carter playing - https://youtube.com/shorts/_t0662tNMGA?si=OpxeNUiehUdECSMB Spring 2025 - Transporters have increased their fees or added fuel surcharges, our Adoption Fee has increased from $500 to $550 to reflect these extra charges.

Story
Commander Bo is a stunning strong blue Doberman with cropped ears and a docked tail. He has the 'look' that everyone loves - however, even he ended up abandoned in Brazoria County. Bo was skinny, poor coat, heartworm positive and with an URI when we met him. He was quick to take meals and guarded his food/treats initially. With time, he took treats gently when reminded and would be gentle with his foster humans. Due to Bo's size and assertiveness, older children would be ok. Bo needs to be given directions otherwise, he will do whatever he wants. He appears to be around 6 years old and future medical needs will include dental care. Bo rides nicely in a car and likes to go for walks, leash training is new to him, but he listens to confident adults. He is used to being the biggest dog around, so he does play with other dogs - mainly females and a few younger puppy males. Bo will challenge other strong willed males (bulldogs, alphas, chihuahuas) by barking and lunging. Based on Bo's need to be the 'Commander' of the pack - he would be best in a home with female dogs, big girls who will play with him. Bo is crate trained and enjoys a large comforter for curling up. He has not shown interest in toys. His play style is very juvenile and the other lab puppies tolerate his nipping and mouthy (grabbing by the neck) play. We suspect he did not have other dog friends before or this is his first time being encouraged to 'be a dog' and play supervised but unrestricted. We would not recommend dog parks for older dogs like Bo who lack some social clues and see most dog behavior as threatening. He can be introduced to dogs who will be part of his family or regular playmates, supervised for corrections. There is no doubt, Bo loves people and attention. He gives hugs to his foster mom and has quickly learned 'sit' - a necessary command since he would headbutt people out of excitement. He is housetrained but will mark. Vaccinated, Neutered, Microchipped, heartworm treated-on prevention. Oh my good golly gracious how I loved getting to know Nelson!!!! Nelson is that dog—the one who steals your heart before you even sit down. During our visit, his favorite place to be was cozied up on the couch, curled against us in a tangle of kisses and tail wags. He’s a tall drink of water with the soul of a teddy bear, and he knows exactly how to win you over with his affectionate nature and striking good looks. We believe Nelson is a hound mix and is about 2 years old and 46 pounds. Due to him being a rescue, age and breed cannot be guaranteed, but he makes up for the uncertainty of his genetics with his looks and charm. Check out this stud muffin below! https://youtu.be/FLOR-YY53Os Nelson currently does not live with any kiddos, but his foster told us that this gentle guy has been around newborns and little ones and was nothing but calm and kind. If you have a specific age group of kids Nelson would be around, let us know and we would be happy to see how he interacts with them! We want to make sure he is perfect for you! Based on what his foster said and his affection towards me during his visit, we believe he’d make a wonderful family dog for a home with respectful young children who can handle the occasional enthusiastic smooch, or older kids who’d love to toss a ball around the yard with him. Nelson is quite the curious fellow, especially when it comes to cats. He’s a little too intrigued for their liking, so a cat-free home will be the best match for him. As for canine companions, he lives with multiple foster doggy siblings! He would do great with a low to medium energy friend! He definitely is down to play but is equally okay being a devoted solo companion to his human friends! A natural glider with a love for movement, Nelson really shines when he has space to roam and run. I LOVED watching him effortlessly dart down from one edge of the yard to the other. Because of that, he’d do best in a home with a yard rather than an apartment. His athleticism mixed with his affectionate heart makes him the perfect companion for someone who loves to snuggle after a good romp outdoors. Are you looking for a friend to travel with? Nelson does great in the car! His foster had nothing but good things to say about his car riding skills! So get that hiking trip planned now! Nelson is ready! Out of all the dogs I’ve met, Nelson left a lasting impression! I will forever love that boy. He’s loyal, tender, and full of goofy charm. If you're looking for a best friend to fill your home with fun, this distinguished gentleman might just be your guy. Has Nelson claimed your heart? We have over 15,000 successful adoptions so far and have excellent Google Reviews: https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success. Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress! Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet. The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded. It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS: Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription Coupons for a fun visit to Petco 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! Meet Silver Maple Tree! She is currently 5 weeks old, and we think she may be a German Shepherd / Rhodesian Ridgeback mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! This puppy is from a part of the US where puppies are regularly euthanized. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves their life AND it also allows us to save the life of another in its place. Watch Silver Maple's video here: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=YvTfPb2Z4iE&feature=youtu.be Silver Maple is currently in a loving foster home and loves to play and take lots of naps! Eat, sleep, play, repeat. Silver Maple is living her best puppy life right now - all she needs is YOU! Silver Maple is still young so she will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! Story
Meet Luke, a lively and loving Miniature Pinscher with a big heart wrapped in a tiny package. With his confident trot and expressive eyes, Luke is full of personality and charm. He’s a curious little adventurer who loves to explore the world around him, especially if it involves time in the yard where he can soak up the sun and patrol like it’s his personal kingdom. Luke has experience living with his sister, another small dog, and does well in a home with other canine companions. He knows how to share space, play nicely, and fit into a household routine. He would thrive in an active home where there’s plenty to do and people to love—he’s happiest when he’s included in daily life and given the attention he so adores. What truly sets Luke apart is his deep love for his people. He’s a cuddler at heart and will gladly leap into your lap for affection or follow you from room to room just to stay close. Luke is looking for a forever home filled with love, activity, and companionship. In return, he promises unwavering loyalty, endless cuddles, and a joyful spirit that will brighten your every day.
