Story
Apply to Adopt Me! Introducing Luna, an approximately 1-year-old 65 lb Dobie mix. She is a big baby, very sweet and playful. Once she warms up to you (doesn't take long)  she will not want you out of her sight. She loves balls and chew toys and playing outside. Luna is a medium to high energy girl and LOVES to just run in the yard, so a fenced in yard is a must for her. She really has no clue how big she is and thinks she is a lap dog. Due to her size and energy, small kids or small dogs would not be ideal. She is dog friendly though and loves to play. She sleeps in her crate and is housetrained now. Luna is doing well on a leash and rides well in the car.  She does have a sock fetish and likes to chew them so laundry should be kept up in a hamper. Luna will need an adopter who will be patient with her and continue to reinforce routines, socialization, and training. She will make a fabulous companion for an active family.  If you live in the central Florida area and feel your home is a great fit for Luna, please send in an application and let us know more about your family. Story
Guinevere was an owner surrender after her elderly mother could no longer take care of her. Due to health reasons and not being able to walk her self she found it in Gwen's best interest to find her a new home. Guinevere loves everybody and other dogs. Mom said she has never been around cats, but when taking her up to a kennel with some in it, she didn't seem to mind. This girl is stressed in the shelter environment and would love to go home with you. She also is housebroken we're told.

Story
I've had Ruby for two years after adopting from Orange County. She can be very sweet once you've built trust. The "3-3-3 Rule" applied when I first got her, but she has never shaken the trauma(s) from her previous owner. She has PTSD and becomes aggressive if not handled properly. Unfortunately, this is beyond my capacity. She would probably make an excellent guard dog as she regularly patrols, barks at unfamiliar sounds, and tries to attack the neighbors.
