Story
Doby is an incredible dog! He is fully trained sit, down, stay, place, heel and more. He will make a wonderful family dog and just wants to be part of the mix. He loves gentle head pets and loves following his favorite person everywhere. He is good with other dogs and cats. I am looking to rehome him to give him a better life as work responsibilities have grown since I first got him. He is up to date on shots and will come with a bag of dog food and 6 months supply of flea/tick/heartworm prevention. I truly want the best home for him and would like someone to care for him as much as I do. He is Goofy and carefree. He loves water activities and running alongside you as you bike. If you have a generally active life and want a partner in crime he will be the perfect addition. I have his puppy and breed paperwork as well as all previous vet information. He is about 4 years old and full of life and character.

Story
Estrella is a very very sweet girl, we had her for 3 years and she has NEVER bitten anyone! We got her when she was just 4 months old from another family who couldn’t take care of her because they live in a small apartment. We are looking for a new family because we have small babies and work a lot and really can’t take care of her properly, also one of our kids is very allergic. She’s good with kids and people. We also have another dog, a cocker spaniel, she is the sweatiest with him! They play all day long. However, she’s not very good with strange dogs like when you’re walking her she gets a little aggressive with them but if is a family dog when introduced she’s fine (we introduced her to 2 more family dogs and she did fine)

Story
11/9/24. Come on, folks! It's me, BETH, and I have been here for 7 months waiting for my forever family. Surely there's someone out there for me. I may not be a purebred Dobie, but I'm 100% lovebug. I am 3 years old, playful, loving, smart, walk nicely on a leash, and ride well in a car. When I meet you, I will probably just roll on my back for a belly rub. I like other calm male dogs or am content being the only princess in the home. PLEASE keep sharing me. I want to go home! 10/2/24.  This absolutely adorable 3 vr old dobie rottie mix from MDAS is hoping October is her lucky month to find her family. BETH is a joyful girl that loves to play and then cuddle with her humans. She loves to roll on her back for belly rubs. She walks well on a leash, rides nicely in car and knows basic commands. She is great with older children/ teens. She is dog selective, may be best as only princess. No cats. 8/6/24.  Beautiful BETH still waiting on her furever family. This 3 year old Dobie Rottie mix is a playful bundle of joy. Walks lovely on leash. She is dog selective but would probably be best as only princess in house.  Cats unkown 5/20/24 update  Meet Beautiful BETH! This all natural 2-3year old dober girl is sweet as sugar. She adores everyone she meets, will roll over for a belly rub, and likes to play in the water. She has a wonderful calm temperament. Good with other dogs and children. Cats unkown as she is from MDAS. 5/15/24.  Meet Beth! This three year old all natural dober girl is 100% lovebug! She is very friendly and loving with everyone she meets. While we have not had a chance to try her with other dogs yet, she appears very calm and non reactive. She likes kids. She will make a loyal companion to one lucky family.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Not every dog is available for adoption or need a foster - some are wards of the rescue (usually due to medical reasons, but sometimes behavioral). Story
12/15/24  Four-year-old JOHNNY is a stunning doberman hoping to find his furever home for the holidays. His owner was moving and says she didn't have room for him. Having spent most of his life living outside, this big 100-pound-plus boy will need training and leash manners. He is a favorite among our male volunteers and is doing great learning to walk well on a leash, but needs a committed, knowledgeable adopter who will continue to work with him so he can be the best version of himself. He likes other dogs but would be best suited with another female or as the only king canine in the house. He is neutered and ready to go home and be your best friend. Get your apps in for JOHNNY! 11/7/24.  Johnny is a beautiful boy who requires leash training and housebreaking. He is affectionate towards both dogs and humans and understands Spanish. Potential adopters should have the time and patience to train him and a tall backyard fence is necessary. It is unknown how he interacts with cats.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Not every dog is available for adoption or need a foster - some are wards of the rescue (usually due to medical reasons, but sometimes behavioral). Story
1/12/25  Meet TONI - This absolutely adorable 1-year-old Dobie mix was abandoned in a garage before some Good Samaritan found him and got him to us. He is sweet, playful, walks nicely on a leash, and likes other dogs. He is still a pup and will need some training, but he is smart and eager to please. Like all our Dobie mixes, he may not be purebred but is 100% lovebug. Please consider adding terrific TONI to your family and SHARE him. He's a GOOD BOY who will bring a lot of joy and love into your life.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Not every dog is available for adoption or need a foster - some are wards of the rescue (usually due to medical reasons, but sometimes behavioral). Story
12/30/24  SEVERIDE is hoping to find his furever family in 2025.   Severide and his companion KIDD wandered into a Pembroke Pines firehouse lured by the smell of food. He was emaciated and filthy but was happy to hop right in the car and play fetch all the way to the rescue. He is about 6-7 years old, is very friendly, and loves all people, walks nicely on a leash, and would be good with another female or as the only prince of the house. He absolutely loves to play fetch and will put his head on your lap when you're driving. He is a true Velcro Doberman. Cats and kids unknown, so we will not put him in that situation. He still needs to gain some weight before his neuter, but if you are interested in fostering/adopting SEVERIDE, he would be ever so grateful for a comfy spot in your home. 12/12/24 Meet Severide. This sweet boy showed up at a fire station in Pembroke Pines one night when they were cooking on the barbecue. He is so emaciated that we can’t even vaccinate him. His weight is improving with small meals, and soon he will be seeing our vet. We are looking for a local foster so he can heal and get healthy.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Not every dog is available for adoption or need a foster - some are wards of the rescue (usually due to medical reasons, but sometimes behavioral). Story
1/19/24. Spent some time with 7-year-old KIDD today. She is one of the dogs that wandered into the firehouse with her companion Severide. KIDD is still waiting to gain some weight before her spay but is one of the sweetest, most gentle dober gals you could ever meet. Walks great on a leash, rides well in the car. She prefers the company of people over other dogs. Cats unknown. 12/30/24. KIDD is looking for her furever family in 2025. About 7 years old, this incredibly sweet and beautiful girl wandered into a Pembroke Pines firehouse, lured by the smell of food, with her companion Severide. She was emaciated and filthy but friendly with everyone she met and grateful to be rescued. She is a favorite of all the volunteers, with her sweet and gentle personality. We are waiting for her to gain some weight until she can be spayed. If you would like to foster/adopt KIDD, she would be very grateful for a comfy bed and a home to call her own after years of likely being used as a breeding machine. 12/12/24 Meet KIDD. This sweet lady showed up at a fire station in Pembroke Pines one night when they were cooking on the barbecue. She is so emaciated that we can’t even vaccinate her. Her weight is improving with small meals, and soon she will be seeing our vet.
