Story
Candi is a fun loving, playful, active Shepherd mix, who is fully vetted, HW neg and microchipped. Though she does get along with most dogs, she would probably do best in a home where she is the only fur baby, receiving all the attention. Candi is house broken, but as far as being crated...she prefers to not be confined, so we don't currently crate her. Candi loves to go for walks, though she is very strong and wants to lead! She needs a strong hand and leash training. She's a smart girl, and has learned to open the back door at her foster home. If there is another dog in the home, Candi needs to be fed separately, as she will protect and scuffle over her meal! She hates being alone, so another easy going dog or a family who is home most of the time, would be ideal for Candi. Shei loves cuddles and lots of attention! *NO cats for Candi! *****Candi is currently located in Dallas/Fort Worth, so transport would need to be arranged!***** If interested in adopting, please feel free to fill out our adoption application online: www.salvagedsoulspetrescue.org

Story
Meet Jax, Jax has been returned to rescue because he barked at a neighbor and well we can't really make that up. Jax is a blue & tan boy with natural ears and a tail that is just over 4 1/2 years old. He is a super sweet boy and deserves the best life. He is a very smart boy who loves cuddles, is great on a leash, and knows a lot of commands! He's a great running and hiking partner, too! Jax needs to be in a Doberman experienced home with no small children. Jax will need to be in a home that is willing to work with him and a trainer for him to continue to grow into the dog he is meant to be. He will also need a home with a 6 ft fence, as he can clear a 3-4 ft fence if he decided to let himself out on a run. Jax is fully vetted and ready for his new forever home. Jax is muzzle trained and in high stress environments like vet offices it would be best for him to wear it in case he gets over stimulated. This boy has had a rough life thus far after running the streets of Mexico to coming here. Jax is back to the dog we originally adopted out. He would be best in a home with another dog to keep his confidence up. He is good with cats and horses also. We are currently accepting applications for Jax at www.savingdobermankind.org/adoption-application All animals adopted from us are fully vetted including spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip, heartworm test and deworming. Please email us at HookedOnDobies@gmail.com, visit our Facebook page www.facebook.com/savingdobermankind or webpage https://www.savingdobermankind.org to request an application, inquire about an adoption fee, or to learn more! Story
Meet Schmitt, Schmitt is a super super sweet boy that deserves the best home. He doesn't have the best story. We accidentally found this boy on Craigslist and well in true fashion we didn't get any good information from the person that was rehoming him. We thought we were getting a 14ish week old puppy. Turns out that's not close to true. We have had him for several weeks in our care working with our vets to see what this poor guys future would look like. What we know is that he is 6-7 months old and likely will be a true miniature doberman but not because he was born that way but something has caused blunt force trauma to his head which is why it's not shaped quiet right. After xrays were taken his skull isn't pressing on his brain but is likely what has stunted his growth and likely will not grow much more. His gate is slightly off as well but otherwise he is a happy boy that loves everyone he meets. Schmitt will need a home that is truly looking for a special needs boy. He is super sweet but he is going to require a structured home that will keep his routine normal. We have learned that throwing off his routine does set him back even if it's a change in environment. He will need a home with not a ton of stairs as he isn't exactly coordinated and runs into things a lot. He would not be a good candidate for a dog door as he likely wouldn't be able to go in and out of it. He would be a dog that will need to be crated when alone for his safety. His prefect home would be with an owner that is home most of the time. Schmitt is good with other dogs and would be best in a home with older kids respectful of dogs he has been around cats and wasn't exactly sure what to think of them. Schmitt is fully vetted now but still needs two rounds of vaccines. Story
Meet Sable, Sable found herself at a local shelter not once but 3 times after being adopted twice and returned. Sable is a super sweet energetic girl that is not quiet 2 years old yet. She is very much a puppy with her energy and will need a home that knows dobermans and no kids under the age of 10 due to her mouthiness. Sable learned several commands with her original owner though lost her training being in the shelter but after she decompresses from everything she has been through over the last month she should pick up where she left off. Sable will only respond to R+ training as adverse training she will give adverse reactions to. Currently we are working on her with cats and other dogs. She has done fine with other dogs in the past but this is the first time she will be with cats. To adopt Sable you will need to have a trainer in mind to continue her training with to get her back on track to the dog she started off being. Sable needs to be on a diet that does not contain poultry. To apply to adopt Sable please go to www.savingdobermankind.org/adoption-application All animals adopted from us are fully vetted including spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip, heartworm test and deworming. Story
Meet Sweet Dee, Sweet Dee is formally Autumn. This super sweet special girl would be a great addition to any family. She is currently about 5 months old. Sweet Dee was found in an abandoned home in the Aurora area and landed at a local shelter. We have talked to our vets in regards to her leg and currently unless she starts having pain there isn't much of anything that can be done for her leg. But don't let that fool you she is a perfectly happy pain free puppy and is as active as any puppy should be. Later in life she could potentially need meds or surgery but it really depends on how she handles her leg. Currently nothing can be done until her growth plates close at the very least. Sweet Dee is picking up quickly on obedience and no issues in the house. She gets along great with other dogs and kids. She would truly make the perfect addition to any home. To apply to adopt Sweet Dee please go to www.savingdobermankind.org/adoption-application All animals adopted from us are fully vetted including spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip, heartworm test and deworming. Story
Meet Stryker. He is an athletic, friendly and adorable young Australian Kelpie Doberman mix. He is around 3 months old and 15bs. Stryker is friendly, affectionate and well mannered. He gets on well with other dogs of all sizes and children. Here is a video of Stryker:https://youtu.be/XvEN2KPqpzs Stryker ended up in a shelter in Kansas prior to his arrival into Colorado. We don't have any of his backstory. However, in his foster home, he has done well with other dogs, he doesn't have any accidents in the crate overnight, sleeps through the night, he is food motivated, learning some basic commands, does not cry and isn't particularly vocal. Stryker is a picky eater and gets fed like a King. He's possibly just a slow eater. Stryker currently lives with his foster in Denver, Colorado and an adoption meeting would happen at the fosters home. Stryker is fully vaccinated, microchipped, his neuter is included in his adoption fee.Stryker knows just how miraculous a turn his life has taken when he was picked out by Havok's Wolfpack and he is determined to live his new life to the fullest in the most playful and adventurous way, hopefully, with you.His adoption fee is $600.To submit an adoption application for Stryker , head over to our website:http://www.havokswolfpack.com/adopt/orhttps://petstablished.com/adoption_form/18644/genericIf your application is approved, we will contact you promptly. ##2210691##
