Story
Finn came to us from the southwestern corner of Colorado. He is 6 months old. Finn has made incredible progress learning to trust humans in the time period he has been with us. He will need a patient adopter willing to let him feel comfortable at his own pace. Potty trained as long as he has access to the outdoors, does great with all the other dogs in the house hold. Does feel the kennel is a safe, good place to sleep and have his breakfast and dinner. He's a smart, sweet boy. Finns' ideal living situation is a single family home with a yard, would enjoy a furry friend or an active family to keep him physically and mentally stimulated.  His observation skills are keen and learns from that. Finn would do fine with older children due to his shy demeanor. He is being foster in Southeast Aurora CO.    ##2213138##

Story
We initially took him in because he was in a home that was abusing/neglecting him. He has been the sweetest boy but unfortunately we realized we don’t have the time to give him the proper attention & training he deserves & now that we have to re-locate we won’t be able to take him with us. We really hope he finds the perfect person or family that will love him unconditionally & will be able to train him. He’s very smart & a good boy but we don’t have the time to teach him. He will always bring a smile to your face & want to be with you 24/7. LOVES to cuddle, like a lot… lol & he enjoys watching shows with you!

Story
Apollo is a sensitive pup! This kiddo appears to have missed out on some socialization opportunities when he was younger, so he is unsure about a lot of things. He will need a gentle and patient adopter that gives him time to settle in and build relationships. Apollo might appreciate the company of a well-adjusted calm dog who can allow him to warm up at his own pace. HSBV will only rehome him to a family without children or with children over the age of 10.

Daisy is a sensitive pup! This kiddo appears to have missed out on some socialization opportunities when she was younger, so she is unsure about a lot of things. She will need a gentle and patient adopter that gives her time to settle in and build relationships. Daisy may tolerate the company of a well-adjusted dog, but she would likely enjoy being the only canine in her next home! Additionally, at this time, HSBV will only rehome her to a family without children or with children over the age of 10.

Story
Ripley is a pure bred Doberman pincher. She has been in our family since she was a puppy. She was born in February 2021 so she is 3.5 years old now. She loves to play, learn and run. She a puller on the leash but that’s her particular breed behavior. She currently lives with two teenagers and an cat and gets along really well with young children. She is a very curious and very loving dog. Recently I have gotten a new job where travel is more common, and boarding her doesn’t feel right to me. She would love to live in a house with active adults who can take her to all the places. We have her AKC papers as well as her embark dna results upon request.
