Puppies are a lot of fun, but also a lot of responsibility! Things you should be aware of before adopting a puppy from the Denver Animal Shelter:* Puppies will need regular socialization. The critical time period for socialization is between 8 and 16 weeks, but it is important to continue to socialize your new pup throughout their young life. This means having positive and enjoyable interactions with as many new people, new dogs, and new environments as possible. Appropriate socialization will help puppies grow into healthier and more social adults.* They will not know what is appropriate to chew on, where they should go to the bathroom, and how to behave in all situations. Puppies require a lot of time spent on training, management, and supervision. It is recommended that puppies be crate trained or kept in a puppy-proofed room of the house with appropriate chew toys and enrichment when not actively supervised. The Denver Animal Shelter always recommends positive reinforcement-based training methods. * Puppies in a shelter environment often have unknown parentage. While we make our best guesses on size and breed, we cannot guarantee their adult temperament, behavior, size, or characteristics.More about this puppy: This lovely boy is California, a 4 month old Doberman puppy! He is a rambunctious, energetic, and goofy guy that is hoping to find his forever home. Adopters should be prepared for a high energy, rambunctious adult.

Story
HOMEOWNERSHIP REQUIRED!!! Hi! My name is Twiggy, but my foster mom also calls me Love, Lovie, Baby, Sweetie, Couch Potato and sometimes “Big Old Lug” when I’m taking up her side of the bed at night (how rude!). My likes? I love zoomies in the backyard, snoozing in chairs and car rides. Oh, I also love dogs and people, and snuggling … lots and lots of snuggling. My dislikes? I really don’t like loud trucks, not really fond of lots of traffic, and I don’t like anyone stealing my toys. I’m a 3-year-old Doberman Pincher mix. I’m a fun-loving, big, curvy girl (how dare you ask my weight, but I’m about 70 lbs.!). I’m looking for a long-term relationship. I’ve done the short-term foster thing and, no knock on it, but I really am just looking for a genuine connection with someone who thinks it’s OK for me to snore in their ear at night. I’ve been through board-and-train, so I’m an educated gal. Must haves for my new relationship: a yard with a fence so I can run around and chase squirrels and bunnies; patience with me on a leash (I listen, but have a short attention span); no young kids. It’s not that I don’t like them or can’t be around them. I can! But they’re small and sometimes get in my way. Plus, I don’t really understand personal space, so I don’t want to hurt them. Oh, and not to brag or anything, but I’ve been told I’m a very good kisser. If you want to meet up, contact 2BABR and they will put you in touch with my current foster. We can get together and see what happens. Adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter Rabies Vaccination Distemper / Parvo Vaccines (includes series of 3 for puppies) Bordetella Microchip with prepaid lifetime registration Deworming ##901874##

Story
Ripley is a pure bred Doberman pincher. She has been in our family since she was a puppy. She was born in February 2021 so she is 3.5 years old now. She loves to play, learn and run. She a puller on the leash but that’s her particular breed behavior. She currently lives with two teenagers and an cat and gets along really well with young children. She is a very curious and very loving dog. Recently I have gotten a new job where travel is more common, and boarding her doesn’t feel right to me. She would love to live in a house with active adults who can take her to all the places. We have her AKC papers as well as her embark dna results upon request.

Story
Meet Stryker. He is an athletic, friendly and adorable young Australian Kelpie Doberman mix. He is around 3 months old and 15bs. Stryker is friendly, affectionate and well mannered. He gets on well with other dogs of all sizes and children. Here is a video of Stryker:https://youtu.be/XvEN2KPqpzs Stryker ended up in a shelter in Kansas prior to his arrival into Colorado. We don't have any of his backstory. However, in his foster home, he has done well with other dogs, he doesn't have any accidents in the crate overnight, sleeps through the night, he is food motivated, learning some basic commands, does not cry and isn't particularly vocal. Stryker is a picky eater and gets fed like a King. He's possibly just a slow eater. Stryker currently lives with his foster in Denver, Colorado and an adoption meeting would happen at the fosters home. Stryker is fully vaccinated, microchipped, his neuter is included in his adoption fee.Stryker knows just how miraculous a turn his life has taken when he was picked out by Havok's Wolfpack and he is determined to live his new life to the fullest in the most playful and adventurous way, hopefully, with you.His adoption fee is $600.To submit an adoption application for Stryker , head over to our website:http://www.havokswolfpack.com/adopt/orhttps://petstablished.com/adoption_form/18644/genericIf your application is approved, we will contact you promptly. ##2210691##

Story
Beamer Overview Beamer is a 5-year-old male dog who was adopted from a rescue as a young puppy. Through no fault of his own, Beamer's living situation recently became an issue, as his family had to move to a small apartment with no room for him to play. Beamer is a big boy who is very sweet and loving when he is comfortable, but will need time to adjust to his new family and environment. Personality Beamer is described as a very sweet boy who loves his people. However, due to his size and activity level, he will do best in a home without small children and with a large, fenced yard where he can play. Beamer is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on his vaccinations. Needs As Beamer adjusts to his new home, he will require patience and time to feel safe and secure. With the right family who can provide him with plenty of love, attention, and an appropriate outlet for his energy, Beamer is sure to blossom into a wonderful companion. An experienced dog owner who can give Beamer the structure and stability he needs would be the ideal match. ##1629027##
