Story
Goose is a fun sized blue dobie, weighing in at around 63lbs. She is highly intelligent and driven and is very eager to please- she knows her name as well as many commands, including but not limited to, sit, down, wait, shake, spin, guard, and roll over. She is crate trained, She loves her people and would love to cover you in kisses any chance she gets. There is nothing Goose wont do for her favorite thing, a ball! She is very trainable, but could use a home that is willing to work with a trainer on her issues with separation anxiety, eating fun inedible mystery items, and some resource guarding of high-value toys. She would do best in a home with a good sized backyard and/or a human that is willing to run or bike with her. Her previous owners are happy to send her with her large collection of super durable toys, her Herm Sprenger prong collar, her leashes and harnesses, an XL crate, any remaining Hills Science Diet kibble, and her indestructible K9 Ballistics bed.

Story
To learn more about Mandarin and Hearts for Paws, go to: https://www.heartsforpawsrescue.com/219873/2024/2/16/mandarin Mandarin has been lovingly hand-raised in foster care since he was 6 weeks old. He currently lives with both dogs and cats. Mandarin is also housetrained, knows how to use a doggy door and is fine left alone for 3-4 hour intervals. He can take a few minutes to warm up to new people, and has done well with respectful kids. He has received professional training through Saturn Dog Training in Sacramento in preparation for his forever. The ideal home will be ready to commit to 10-15 years of dog ownership; a backyard would be most ideal as he has grown up with one. He may do well with another dog in the home, good with cats, but could also be a solo dog to the right applicants. We would recommend a home with kids 8-10+. DOB: 11/21/23 Neutered Doberman, Shepherd, Mixed Breed estimated 60-70 lbs full grown $250 adoption donation - vetted, up to date on age appropriate shots, dewormed, fecal tested/treated, flea tick treated & available w spay agreement addendum by/before 6 months. They are all microchipped with lifetime registry. Ideal home will: Have the time to commit to all things puppy! Please note puppies do not do well left alone long hours. Long work schedule where the puppy would be left alone for 7+ hours can be difficult on most puppies and young dogs. Solid plans for puppy socialization, positive exposure and continued training + relationship building -- commitment not just to puppyhood but to a lifetime of love, care, companionship and vetting. HFP advocates for Positive Reinforcement only for young puppies and training that focuses less on "obedience" and more on confidence building, relationship building and consent training. Preference to homes w/ friendly & well-trained dog role models (preference, NOT required) Interested in adopting? 1. Please complete our online form at heartsforpawsrescue.com/adoption-application 2. We will respond in 1-3 days for a call! 3. If it sounds like a potential match for you and the dog of interest, we will promptly set up a meet and greet at the foster home Please note we are a foster-based rescue meaning our dogs are in individual foster homes throughout sac and the bay. For this reason we may only be able to schedule meets for one dog at a time (or litter). The average timeline between app submission and a meet and greet is 3-5 days. Please only submit an application for a specific dog if you are ready to adopt that animal within a week's time. Follow facebook.com/heartsforpawsrescue & Instagram @heartsforpawsrescue for more! Story
*Courtesy Post for Solano Shelter* Meet Roscoe! Roscoe is neutered and vaccinated; he is estimated about 2 years old and is currently at Solano County shelter adoption floor but the shelter is impacted like many across the state. Shelter ID: A295868 If you would like to foster or foster to adopt through our program please contact us: https://www.heartsforpawsrescue.com/fosterapplication Email coordinators@heartsforpawsrescue.com or info@heartsforpawsrescue.com The dogs posted have tested well with dogs and have exhibited affiliative behaviors/done well with new people. Please keep in mind we always recommend slowly introducing animals in the home and taking proper precautions to feed separately, and if needed be able to have a safe, separate space. Since they are in the shelter still, we do not always know or are able to know if they are good with cats. Since they are kenneled 23.5-24 hours a day we can not guarantee they are housetrained; please keep in mind even housetrained dogs may have accidents as they adjust to a new home and schedule.

Story
Aurora was born on 8/25/2021 and she is half doberman/husky. She loves to run, go for walks, and look for lizards hiding in the grass. She knows commands like: sit, down, up, off, paw, reach, touch, paw, and turn. She’s an outdoor dog and sleeps in a cage in my garage with blankets and pillows. She’s well behave when inside the house. The main reason I need to rehome her is due to financial hardship and personal matter (living situation). Aurora enjoys playing in the water in the summer, squeky and treat toys! Aurora is not spayed but up to date with shots and she is chipped. She is very smart and will do great with someone that can training her more. She doesn’t bark a lot and is ok around kids. Please message if you would like to know more about Aurora❤️ **The adoption fee will be donated to this organization**
