Age:6 Months Old Gender: Male Breed: Doberman Pinscher Mix Weight: 57 lbs Personality: Bear is a perfect balance of energy and affection. With a medium energy level, he enjoys daily walks and outdoor adventures but he is equally content to relax and snuggle at home with his favorite people. Bear thrives on companionship and loves being close, often curling up beside you on the couch or even trying to fit on your lap. Bear's intelligence shines through in how quickly he picks up new commands and tricks, making him fun and easy to train. Playful and sweet, Bear adores his toys—whether it’s a game of fetch, throwing his toys in the air, or simply chewing on a bone or squeaky favorite. Story
We are currently doing courtesy posts because we don't have space in our rescue to bring dogs in. Diesel (under 2yrs male) is desperately needing of a new loving home. The owner gave him to the neighbor after the neighbor pleaded with them to let her take him because he was housed outside all day everyday since he's a puppy on a tiny cement patio with no sunlight and hardly any walks or interaction. Diesel is a sweet shy boy who has been horribly neglected all his life but is so eager to love people. Due to his neglect because he hasn't been around children or other animals we believe it's best to be the only dog in home. It is very possible for him to be around other animals and kids with proper training in the future. If interested in meeting Diesel please contact Christina (562)822-1205 cmadridk@gmail.comJanuary 22, 2025, 6:50 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Forever Home Wanted: Meet Hannah!!!! In early June, Hannah (the mama) entered the shelter system very, very pregnant.  The following Sunday when the shelter was closed Hannah gave birth alone to her 11 puppies (7 males, 5 females).  Despite the environment Hannah was the best mama and kind to all staff helping her and her puppies.  Lucky for Hannah and her puppies a foster stepped up and we were able to rescue them and place them all in a loving foster home to nurse and grow up safely. Now it is Hannah’s turn to find a forever home.  Hannah is a sweet Doberman lab mix thought to be about two years old who has basic house manners and gets along fine with people and dogs (cats are unknown).  If Hannah sounds like the right dog for your home, fill out our online application at www.labradorsandfriends.org.  Hannah is located in Southern California.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 12, 2025, 10:32 pm

Story
Cooper is a 10 month old purebred Doberman. He is neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. He is incredibly sweet and loyal to his family and his big sister, a Samoyed. He came to us as a fearful puppy however trainers, obedience classes, and behavioral medication have helped with this. He has nipped a couple times at strangers and will need additional training and patience so that he can grow into a confident adult. Given his ongoing requirements and that we are expecting newborn twins in February, we will need to rehome him. He needs an adults-only household with room to run and confident medium-large dogs (although this may change later with training and maturity). Owners with experience working with Dobermans or working dogs are ideal.

Story
Mia is a great companion. I got her at 8 weeks and worked on training her from the start. She has a lot of experience being at dog parks and going on walks. She loves to play with other dogs and has not shown any aggression towards humans or other animals (except for cats, she seems to REALLY want to chase them). She is very sweet and cuddly at heart. She is crate trained and potty trained. She knows her basic commands like sit, down, place, and off. I know if she goes to someone capable of giving her the time and spacious home she needs she will be perfect. My current living situation , a studio apartment, is not the best for her and she deserves better.

Hi I’m Arthur!I came in nervous about people, but once I get to know you I’m a big lover. I enjoy playing a little game of cat and mouse and with a little encouragement maybe some fetch too! Some might mistake me for a cat because I LOVE rubbing up on my human to get some cuddles and scratches. Oh, and I might look skinny but I’m a very strong boy when it comes to walks. I hope you come in and visit me so I can have my fur-ever home!

Story
Hi there, future best friend! We’re just two little pups looking for a forever home. Let us tell you our story! Back in January, something crazy happened—our family’s house got flooded. It was a tough time for everyone, especially our mom and dad (the doggy kind, of course!). They took the opportunity to roam around a bit more than usual, and soon after, we came into the world as part of a litter of six. We’ve had such a fun puppyhood here! Our humans have been so kind, making sure we’re healthy, happy, and full of love. Two of our siblings have already found their forever homes, and our mom and two more siblings are staying right here. But now it’s our turn to find a new adventure! We’re playful, curious, and full of puppy energy, but we’re also great snugglers when it’s time to settle down. We promise to bring lots of love and laughter to your life. Do you have space in your heart and home for one (or both!) of us? Come meet us! We can’t wait to start our next chapter—with you.

Story
He’s super-friendly and very intelligent. I’ve just developed a dog allergy, so I can’t be as affectionate as either of us would like. He’s really good at feeling out moods. He can play all day or lay around the house. Despite being half Husky, he rarely barks or sings. He knows basic commands and our walks are frequently without me having to hold his leash. He’s never displayed aggression at the dog park, preferring play vs confrontation. He’s very loyal, and I usually find him asleep on the stairs to the bedrooms rather than in his bed or crate.

Story
Have had Leonidas (Leo for short) for the past year as we rescued him from the humane society. He is approximately 2-3 years old and a very energetic dog. He loves running and walks, eating, and being close to you without cuddling. He listens for the most part but sometimes has that rebellious teenage attitude. He is usually good with other dogs, but can play a little rough with them at first. Would be better as an only dog. We are looking for someone who can provide a large space for him to run (or take him for runs/walks daily), in addition to having sufficient patience while he adjusts to his new home. Leo wants to be a good boy, and we would like to find someone who can give him the playtime he needs.

Story
Dijon is one pup out of a litter of 10 that my dog had on accident. One of the photos he is sitting next to his mother who is the doberman mix and his father is a malinois mix. Dijon is a very loyal and sweet puppy, he is almost 4 months old now and is nearly fully potty trained. He will stand at the door when he needs to go out and loves the praise for going outside. Dijon is also very smart, he knows how to sit and lay down already and is mastering giving a paw. Dijon gives the most serious eye contact that indicates how loving and loyal he will be with his forever parents. I personally love him to death and am so proud of how he has grown since a little baby. Dijon deserves a good home that will show him the world, take him out to the park, and spoil him like he deserves. Dijon plays very well with his siblings and holds his own when playing with his mother. He loves toys and chasing around. He still is a puppy so he is learning not to bite but will get nippy when super excited.

Story
How this pet arrived:Peanut was brought in by his former owner. Why Peanut might be the one for you: Peanut is a young guy with huge ears, white paws and pretty brownish coloring with a few white markings in all the right places to make him gorgeous. Although technically he may not be considered a puppy, he thinks he is still a puppy and that means he is full of energy and hasn't learned all the stuff for being a a good dog. Peanut is a goofy, playful dog who is looking for an active home where he can get lots of daily exercise and enrichment. Peanut has shown signs of impulse control, so he is looking for dog savvy owners who can continue his positive reinforcement training. We can help you with tips and resources for how to work with a dog like Peanut. He will do best in a quieter environment with a routine and with no kids or kids 12 or older. Want to provide a caring and loving home for Peanut to finish his transition from puppy to best friend companion? If so, come to our campus and ask to meet Peanut who is NOT peanut sized although he may think he is as he tries to crawl onto your lap. Peanut has been vaccinated, microchipped, spayed/neutered and is now ready for his new home. Message for details:This pet is available for adoption in a foster home.
