Story
Hi there, future best friend! We’re just two little pups looking for a forever home. Let us tell you our story! Back in January, something crazy happened—our family’s house got flooded. It was a tough time for everyone, especially our mom and dad (the doggy kind, of course!). They took the opportunity to roam around a bit more than usual, and soon after, we came into the world as part of a litter of six. We’ve had such a fun puppyhood here! Our humans have been so kind, making sure we’re healthy, happy, and full of love. Two of our siblings have already found their forever homes, and our mom and two more siblings are staying right here. But now it’s our turn to find a new adventure! We’re playful, curious, and full of puppy energy, but we’re also great snugglers when it’s time to settle down. We promise to bring lots of love and laughter to your life. Do you have space in your heart and home for one (or both!) of us? Come meet us! We can’t wait to start our next chapter—with you.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Foster or Forever Home Wanted: Meet Hannah!!!! In early June, Hannah (the mama) entered the shelter system very very pregnant.  The following Sunday when the shelter was closed Hannah gave birth alone to her 11 puppies (7 males, 5 females).  Despite the environment Hannah was the best mama and kind to all staff helping her and her puppies.  Lucky for Hannah and her puppies a foster stepped up and we were able to rescue them and place them all in a loving foster home to nurse and grow up safely. Now it is Hannah’s turn to find a forever home.  Hannah is a sweet Doberman lab mix thought to be about two years old who has basic house manners and gets along fine with people and dogs (cats are unknown).  If Hannah sounds like the right dog for your home, fill out our online application at www.labradorsandfriends.org.  Hannah is located in Southern California.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 6, 2024, 7:50 pm

Story
Have had Leonidas (Leo for short) for the past year as we rescued him from the humane society. He is approximately 2-3 years old and a very energetic dog. He loves running and walks, eating, and being close to you without cuddling. He listens for the most part but sometimes has that rebellious teenage attitude. He is usually good with other dogs, but lately has been somewhat aggressive with other dogs when it comes to food. Would be better as an only dog. We are looking for someone who can provide a large space for him to run (or take him for runs/walks daily), in addition to having sufficient patience while he adjusts to his new home. Leo wants to be a good boy, and we would like to find someone who can give him the playtime he needs.

Age:6 Months Old Gender: Male Breed: Doberman Pinscher Mix Weight: 57 lbs Personality: Bear is a perfect balance of energy and affection. With a medium energy level, he enjoys daily walks and outdoor adventures but he is equally content to relax and snuggle at home with his favorite people. Bear thrives on companionship and loves being close, often curling up beside you on the couch or even trying to fit on your lap. Bear is incredibly loyal and likes to build strong bonds with the people around him. Bear's intelligence shines through in how quickly he picks up new commands and tricks, making him fun and easy to train. Playful and sweet, Bear adores his toys—whether it’s a game of fetch, throwing his toys in the air, or simply chewing on a bone or squeaky favorite. Bear has a gentle and friendly nature that makes makes him good with children, and he gets along well with other dogs, bringing a calm yet playful energy to social situations. Overall, Bear is a wonderful companion, blending playfulness with loyalty and a strong desire for close connection. Education: Bear is potty trained and knows commands like, sit, stay, lay down.
