Zorro is a handsome, 85 plus-pound, young Doberman (estimated DOB 12/22). He would love a home with an active family (older or no kids) who aren't gone for long periods. Ideal family would have breed experience, who are committed to continue his training, with a yard and a friendly dog buddy to play with. Zorro came to the rescue emaciated, malnourished, with parvo and a damaged eye which had to be removed. He has made an amazing recovery and has turned into a sweet, goofy, energetic boy who is learning how to be part of a family and a pack. Zorro is learning to walk politely on a power loop (halti style) leash. Despite his size he is a polite walking partner. That said he would need a good yard with a secure fence to romp in. And preferably a dog that is fun and playful as well as a good match for his size. He was curious about the cats in his foster home, but will chase if they run. He is doing well with not jumping up on people but small children would not be ideal. Zorro is excelling at working on basic training. He is smart and picking up things quickly. He is potty trained with a good, consistent schedule. He crates well. Zorro wish list 1. Yard with solid fencing. No apartments 2. Obedience training continued. 3. Active family. Daily walks and exercise 4. Another young well balanced playful dog 5. Experience with large powerful breeds preferred. He is the most loving and most loyal dog ever, great with outdoor adventures like hiking and camping super athletic loves to go on runs. I found this puppy neglected on the side of some back roads. The shelters are full and I can’t find a rescue that will accept new fosters. I have nourished her back to health and got her potty trained and crate trained, so I feel good about finding her a new home. She loves to be outside so I’d prefer a home that had a yard! She adores my older dog so I know she would also appreciate the company of another dog, but that’s not a deal breaker! She loves to play and cuddle. Very food motivated and intelligent. I will give you a crate, her doggy blankets, and a couple of toys. My fee is simply reimbursement for this $50 listing and her $50 shots, nothing more.

Batman and Robin are a bonded pair of dogs who were very feral when they first arrived. Batman, the larger of the two, weighs around 20 lbs, while Robin is about 10 lbs. They are between 1 to 2 years old and have made incredible progress since coming into our care. While they are still nervous around people, they are mirroring the behavior of the more friendly dogs around them, and their confidence is growing every day. These two adventurers love to explore and are known to climb the Ash tree in my backyard and chase squirrels. They enjoy the freedom of having access to a dog door and a crate, but they can be chewers. They are generally good with other dogs, and having a friendly dog in the home to lead the way would help them feel even more comfortable. Though Batman and Robin are still hesitant about being handled, we are working with them through hand feeding and gentle petting to help them overcome their fear. They need a very patient foster home where they can continue to build trust and confidence. If you are someone with the time, patience, and experience to help guide these sweet souls, we would be forever grateful. Batman and Robin are a bonded pair who need each other, and we hope to find them a safe, loving home where they can continue to grow.
