Story
Reginold is a handsome 12-month-old Doberman mix with a sleek chocolate-and-tan coat, soulful amber eyes, and a noble 25-inch frame that turns heads wherever he goes. Weighing in at 50 lbs (and still filling out!), this playful pup is as charming as he is athletic. Reginold is full of joy, curiosity, and just the right amount of mischief! He's very playful with dogs he knows and enjoys romping around with his foster sibling, but meeting new dogs on a leash can still be a bit nerve-wracking for him. With patience and continued training, he's learning to build confidence in those situations. This boy loves his daily walks and runs but is still working on his leash manners—he just gets so excited about the world around him! He thrives in a calm environment and does well with older, dog-savvy kids, but young children can be overwhelming for him, so a kid-free home is the best fit. Reginold is fully house-trained and will paw at the door when he needs to go outside (or come back in). He sleeps soundly in his crate all night and has mastered the "in your house" command, happily settling in when needed. However, he does have a soft spot (literally!) for plush beds and blankets, so those should be monitored. Beyond his good manners, Reginold has some hilarious quirks! He stands on his back legs and waves his paws to get your attention, and when he gets extra excited, he bounces straight up in the air like a kangaroo. His hand-eye coordination is top-notch—he can catch almost any toy or treat mid-air! And despite his size, he firmly believes he's a lap dog, always eager to snuggle up with his people. With his playful personality, loving nature, and devotion to his humans, Reginold is ready to become the incredible companion he's meant to be. He'll thrive in a home that can provide him with love, patience, and plenty of belly rubs!
