Where are my floppy ear lovers? Check out the ears on Bingo! He is currently 10 weeks old, and we think he may be a Dachshund/Hound and possibly mixed with Frenchie or pug, like his momma! This boy is a true Texas special!! His mom is pictured in the photos and only about 35 lbs or rolls and chunky love. The babies are so small so may end up medium sized - too cute! Their mom is very laid-back and the puppies are pretty laid-back as well. They have wonderful personalities and they have lived in a foster home since they were very tiny so they are well socialized with kids, other dogs, and they have a great foundation for being wonderful family dogs. They have been very well taken care of and they seem to be very healthy. This puppy is from a part of the US where puppies are regularly euthanized. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves their life AND it also allows us to save the life of another in its place. Bingo is playful, sweet, curious, and cuddly. He loves to play with his siblings and take lots of naps. Eat, sleep, play, repeat - such is puppy life! Bingo is still young so he will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. His new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. Ranger just joined our program and while we are not sure what breed he actually is, we have been told Dachshund Lab mix...Corgi Lab mix or possibly Corgi German Shepherd mix. The truth is, we just don't know however we do lean towards a Dachshund mix of some sort. We are Flynn and Rider! Like thieves in the night we'll steal your heart. Flynn and Rider are absolutely gorgeous and active puppies looking for forever homes to call their own. Flynn is a bit more reserved than Rider but he still loves to go play. He'll come sit by your feet and take in the world around him or he'll try to scamper up on your lap to show you rocks he's found. He loves being up high to get scratchies and watch his brother. Rider is the adventurer, he enjoys sniffing through the grass and pouncing grasshoppers. He likes to get the big dog toys to drag around the yard and have his brother chase him. Rider sits patiently waiting for his turn to get scratchies on your lap. He's so adorable! He's fearless until big trucks rumble by then you'll find him behind your chair! Don't get Tangled in our cute-pie puppy eyes! Flynn's blazing a new trail in life, had Parvo and they were unsure if he was gonna make it. Now he's recovered and making the most of life! Rider was a good support pup, always peeking in on Flynn while he was sick wondering when he could wrestle again. Otherwise he was bolting around causing a ruckus as puppies do checking out everything and ducking under anything. Gotta put a bell on this boy! These pups have healthy appetites but will stop when full, graze later after activities. Their mom has short legs, longer body, pointy ears, narrow face, and a beautiful redish brindle coat. Might be corgi/dachshund mixes or be energetic little terrier dogs. They have cute little legs and look like they waddle from behind! Both like to play, run, and carry things around. They are really good at hustling from their room to door to go outside with "lets go, let's go, hurry, hurry, all the way to the door." Then once out the door "all the way to the gate... no pee pee in the walk way." Then "hurry hurry all the way back to go potty." They bound around in a scurry watching me for praise at their good efforts! Eager to learn, observant, smart. Will walk on leashes together but criss cross a bit so will need individual leash training. They are a little timid with new things in general so slow introductions would be helpful as they learn. They are young and going through a chewing stage so age appropriate chew toys a plus. Have experience with dogs their size. Very timid with big dogs. No experience with cats or children so please introduce them slowly. Glory, such a wonderful word. Giving honor, love and praise. My name is NOW Glory, and let me tell you... i had no name before I got to the rescue.... But NOW, I am GLORY and I am loved in the foster mom's home and pack. I have a really great friend too, his name is Leggo and he was from a rough family too. So we have kind of a kinship of despair, which has turned into LOVE and FOOD and WARMTH and HOPE! We didn't come into the rescue together but we are attached at the hip :) Please adopt us together!! HE WAS FOUND WITH TWO PUPPIES UNDER A HIGHWAY BRIDGE. UNFORTUNATELY, ONE OF THEM TESTED POSITIVE FOR DISTEMPER AND, BECAUSE THE DISEASE WAS ALREADY VERY ADVANCED, HE DIED A FEW DAYS AFTER STARTING HIS TREATMENT. ELMER AND THE OTHER PUPPY, TITAN, WERE PLACED IN QUARANTINE AS A PREVENTIVE MEASURE. HOWEVER, ONE DAY AFTER THE END OF QUARANTINE, TITAN SHOWED DISTEMPOR SYMPTOMS AND, LIKE THE FIRST PUPPY, DIED DESPITE RECEIVING TREATMENT. THIS WAS HOW ELMER BECAME THE ONLY SURVIVOR OF THIS RESCUE. TODAY ELMER IS COMPLETELY HEALTHY AND WITHOUT ANY KIND OF SEQUEL AND IS LOOKING FOR A LOVING FAMILY THAT WILL CONSENT HIM. ELMER IS A FAITHFUL COMPANION WHO LOVES TO BE HUGGED AND Cuddled. HE WILL LOVE TO TAKE WALKS AND WALKS WITH YOU. IT IS PLAYFUL AND FRIENDLY, WHICH MAKES IT IDEAL TO BE WITH CHILDREN AND LITTLE ONES.
