Meet Caleb! An adorable 2-year-old dachshund weighing 11 lbs. and super sweet!! He is looking for his forever home after being in foster care and learning that love is gentle, patient, understanding, and kind. Caleb's past life was unkind and little by little, the past is becoming a distant memory. He is playful, sweet, a loving boy who like every dachshund, is vocal, very treat motivated, doesn't like the cold/rain, and can de-squeak a toy in seconds!! He gets along with both women & men but does prefer females. He is almost potty trained but needs positive encouragement with guidance keeping in mind that any new changes will nonetheless bring accidents (his past trauma was potty related where he was scolded and learned to hold it for a very long time), is crate trained and walks fairly nicely on leash. Caleb is recovering from IVDD and therefore his home will have limited stairs, keep his weight ideal, no jumping, and fed a high-quality diet with a good joint supplement. Caleb enjoys canine companionship of similar size & age, gets along with dog savvy cats, and children who are older 12+ (he does not like quick movements). HIs best life includes: Single family residence with a fully fenced & secured yard (no exceptions) Works a hybrid schedule, part-time, early retired Breed specific knowledge and experience (he is not for first time dog guardians) Active Quality time exploring the outdoors Follows and practices positive force free training guidelines Lives in a peaceful, quiet, rural area (city life is not for Caleb) Caleb is fostered in Vancouver, WA Only serious inquiries and matches will be replied to. Mo is a six month old wire-haired dachshund/miniature schnauzer/terrier mix puppy who was found with another dog in Houston. Unfortunately, no microchip or owner was ever found. Mo is a loving, sweet boy who loves people, dogs, car adventures, and life overall. We are grateful the finder of Mo kept him safe from being hit by a car or run over...... This fun loving guy has blossomed over the past two months in his foster home. He is used to being held, loves affection, is kennel-trained, leash-trained, loves walks, and has mastered puppy pads wonderfully. Mo squats and does NOT lift his leg. We are now transitioning to going potty outside. Mo loves to help when his foster mom is planting her flowers. This boy loves Natural Pet collagen chews, and DuraForce dog toys. He is happy with his canine friends and is sure to bring joy to his new family. We look forward to his happy ever after SOON! Mo has been examined by our vet, and given three dhpp vaccines, rabies, bordetella, canine influenza, & leptospirosis vaccines. Mo DOES NOT have any heart murmur, luxating patellas, eye, skin, or allergy issues. He is given Simparica Trio on the first of every month for heartworm and flea/tick prevention. All vaccines are given by our outstanding vet & vet techs. We email all veterinary records prior to adoption. Mo is dewormed every two weeks. This precious pup is neutered & microchipped. We provide our rescued puppies and dogs with the highest quality veterinary care as our own pets receive. Proper veterinary care is our number one PRIORITY and it shows in the health of our rescued puppies and dogs. My adoption fee is $400 and transportation fee is $350 from Houston, Texas to Seattle, Washington. We use the highest standard transporter in the industry. We have many happy adopters on both West Coast, East Coast, and Canada. We are pleased to provide referrals upon request. Our greatest goal is to properly match a rescued pup with the perfect adopter. We have over twenty plus years experience in rescuing pets. It is truly our greatest joy.

Baboo (full name Baboushka) is 9 years old as of November 11, 2023. He was rescued from a county pound in 2016 and has lived in California, Peru, Idaho, and Washington! He is a well-traveled dog, and loves to go for car rides, walks and stroller trips. Baboo has IVDD, which started when he was 4 years old. He went into immediate surgery, 24 hours after symptoms developed and spent 9 months in rehab and therapy until he started to walk again. I spent the next three years slowly working with him to get him to where he is today! He can go on short trots, long, slow-paced walks, do some mild wrestling and live happily and painlessly thanks to a lot of hard work and patience on his part. He has come so far, has a big heart and is looking for his perfect cuddly family! He cannot jump or be overly active, due to having 3 herniated discs removed, and 2 remaining on his spine. He is looking for a forever home, preferably where he can be the only dog.

Welcome Daisey to CCPAL foster program. She is an 8-year-old Dachshund/Corgi is our best guess. She has a longer body and upright ears. She is a scenting breed for sure. She is active and social and not the couch potato dog. She weighs 25 pounds. She is good with a dog smaller and a dog larger. The larger dog is a pit Bull and she does good with that more dominant dog as well. She is around children and is a great dog for a family with kiddos. She has a 5 year old and a baby in her home. This family has found they have to move into a rental house. The rental house will only allow 2 dogs. They are sad but there is no other option. Pit Bulls are tougher to rehome so she is rehoming her favorite dog. She was crying telling this story. Daisey is potty trained, good on a leash, good in a car, good with other dogs, kids and strangers. She will need a fenced yard or walked on a leash. She can catch a scent and wonder off. She has a nice sturdy body and will make a great companion for an active family or active senior. She can be an only dog or go with another dog. This dog has a lot of good years in front of her and is by no means an old acting dog. She is in good health, vaccinated, spayed and ready for her forever home. She is a shedding dog but only moderately. She is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to help get her to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Welcome Bristol to CCPAL Rescue Foster Program. Bristol is a 1.5-year-old Dachshund/Chihuahua mixed dog. She is a small girl at about 7 pounds. She is a little under weight and her fosters will giving her good nutrition. She just had a litter of pups and we are posting them now. Bristol will be spayed soon and will be able to be the center of her family’s life soon. We could not be happier for Bristol. She is very sweet. She is learning the leash, doggie door, crate, car rides and working on potty training. The fosters believe she may have lived outside in her first home in life. She deserves to be a part of the family and get showered with love. She would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older due to her small size. She is going to be loyal to her person and usually they pick one to be their person. She likes to be held and sit in your lap. She isn’t too energetic and a small condo sized yard would be sufficient. If she goes to a colder climate she would need a good coat as she was cold today in Texas and it was only 70 degrees. She is good with cats and lives with a large dog. She is a wonderful mother dog and will make a wonderful family companion. She is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast.
