This is Charlie. He needs to find a home without so much Chaos. That is with no kids or other pets. He is a one-person dog. Once he bonds, he is the most lovable sweet dog. He loves to snuggle up and burrow in the covers. He will give you lots of kisses. HE IS NOT AN OUTSIDE DOG!! He does not get along with our cats at all and his biggest problem is barking. He will tolerate kids as long as they respect him as long as they handle him with gentleness.

Meet Candy, she is very intelligent and friendly but can also be reserved at times. She is curious, and she wants to follow her people everywhere they go. She LOVES going for walks to show off her new coat and she is great on the leash. She is extremely quiet and likes to people watch through the front windows when she gets an opportunity to. Shes very comfortable around her large dog foster sibling and she is friendly and gentle with kids as well.She prefers privacy in her quiet space when she goes to bed at night. Candy would make a wonderful dog for a person that works from home and needs a low energy companion dog, for a homeschooling family, for people that take their dog to work, or someone in need of a emotional support dog and need their dog to be with them at all times.

Hi we are Russel (7 yrs old Brown Dachshund) and Rocky (6 yr old black and tan Dachshund). We are best friends and looking for a forever home where we can always be together! Our foster mom says we need to be the only dogs because we are still learning about dog friends. In fact she says we are learning so much, like sit and stay.she says we will be good dogs! We are very sweet and love to cuddle and go for walks !

Welcome Daisey to CCPAL foster program. She is an 8-year-old Dachshund/Corgi is our best guess. She has a longer body and upright ears. She is a scenting breed for sure. She is active and social and not the couch potato dog. She weighs 25 pounds. She is good with a dog smaller and a dog larger. The larger dog is a pit Bull and she does good with that more dominant dog as well. She is around children and is a great dog for a family with kiddos. She has a 5 year old and a baby in her home. This family has found they have to move into a rental house. The rental house will only allow 2 dogs. They are sad but there is no other option. Pit Bulls are tougher to rehome so she is rehoming her favorite dog. She was crying telling this story. Daisey is potty trained, good on a leash, good in a car, good with other dogs, kids and strangers. She will need a fenced yard or walked on a leash. She can catch a scent and wonder off. She has a nice sturdy body and will make a great companion for an active family or active senior. She can be an only dog or go with another dog. This dog has a lot of good years in front of her and is by no means an old acting dog. She is in good health, vaccinated, spayed and ready for her forever home. She is a shedding dog but only moderately. She is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to help get her to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states.
