Lucy is approximately a year old and is really a perfect dog. She is confident, loving, great with other dogs and kids. Lucy is a dachshund / hound mix that we are estimating to be about a year old. Her foster has been working with her on house training and she is continuing to make progress. She loves sleeping and napping with her owners and cuddling up in their arms. She is 27 pounds. Lucy is most confident when she is with another dog and would love to have a playful doggy brother or sister. Lucy also enjoys spending time outside and would love a family with a fenced yard.You can apply to meet her at ricopetrecovery.org! Adoption fee is $250

Story
Frosty, aka Frisch's Big Boy, loves to run with his canine friends and also likes to wind down with a chew toy.  He is a loveable pup looking for a new family to snuggle with.  Frosty's mom, Millie, was surrendered to us after being found running loose and the owners didn't want her back.  She ended up being pregnant and had 5 puppies!  Frosty was by far the biggest one!  His mother is a chihuahua/dachsund mix; however we don't know his father's breed.  Frosty is crate trained and housetrained.  He is good in his crate for short periods of time, but he is an energetic boy who doesn't handle being cooped up for too long.  He tends to bark a bit so will likely not be great in an apartment setting.  He was adopted out, but due to his strong personality with other dogs he was too much for his elderly canine housemate to handle.  Frosty goes to doggy daycare regularly and does great running with the big dogs!  Now he needs to find a forever home that is a good match for his playful personality.   ##1860239##

Poppy is the sweetest, most loving little 7 year old (She turned 7 years old September 30th) chiweenie girl. She is love and light, sugar and spice, sass and spunk! This playful 12lb bundle of joy LOVES to cuddle and love on you, a true lap dog. She listens well and tries very hard to please her person. Poppy is outdoor and pee pad potty trained. She likes toys, car rides, belly rubs and kisses. Poppy gets along well with other dogs after proper introductions.  She is up to date on age appropriate vaccines, spayed and microchipped.  All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. Hi, I'm Chorizo and I'm ready to Salsa! I am a spicy little Dachshund mix. At 9 weeks old and 7 pounds, I'm the BIG brother in my litter!  I'm working on house and crate training and doing pretty good for being just a baby.  I love playing with my littermates and my other dog friends. I play with dogs 12 to 180 pounds, no dog is too big or too small, I can hold my own with them all!  I love people, (I think I should get ALL the attention) stuffed toys, dog beds, fleece blankets, cheese and peanut butter. Do you need a Tango partner?  I'd love to be a part of your Familia!  All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. Aloha! I'm Lau Lau, I'm 12 weeks old and 6 pounds. I am a sweet Dachshund mix, that is always up for a luau! Do you want to Hula with me? I'm working on house training and doing pretty good for being just a baby. I am already able to keep my crate clean and I sleep in my crate all night! I love playing with my littermates, my people, my cousins and my other dog friends. My favorite to play with are the biggest dogs, like my English Mastiff friend who is 180 pounds! However, no dog is too big or too small, I can hold my own with them all!  My favorite things are cuddles, stuffed toys, fleece blankets, cheese and playing tug of war.   I love people but can be a little shy.
