Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Meet Mini and Coco Puff! (Perfect Pairs: Doxy and Min-Pin!) This sweet, small, senior pair grew up together. When their owner passed away, they were dropped off at a shelter, leaving their whole lives upended and confused. Mini is a female dachshund mix and Coco Puff is a male min pin mix. Both of these dogs are pretty perfect. They are house-trained, laid back, and really just want a home to live out the rest of their lives. Mini is a little shy at first but she warms up quickly. Both dogs are quiet and very relaxed. They do well with other dogs and even with the resident kitty. They have not been kid-tested since being with DASH, but they have not shown any concerning signs of behavior. If you are ready to have affectionate and easy-going companionship, these two could not be more perfect for you. Double your fun! The adoption fee listed is for this perfect pair.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 2, 2024, 3:49 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Meet Tipsy! Tipsy is a loving fun little girl. She loves to cuddle, she loves kisses. She loves playing with her foster siblings and even the 3 cats. Tipsy is a bit timid at first, but once she knows you she is happy to greet you and play. She will do anything for treats or food. She trots like a horse. When she does bark which isn't much it is more of a yodel. Sometimes she barks normally which I think is her doxie side coming out. She is crate trained, and sleeps at night in the crate, she is not enthused about it, but does go in. She will whine a little and then settles down. This sweet girl follows her foster mom everywhere. She has learned to use steps and we are working on the doggie door. She seems a little afraid of it. She is good about going out, but you have to send her out every few hours as she doesn't tell you when she needs to go. She is pretty good at trying to hit the pee pads as well. If someone is eating she wants in on the action. Tipsy is ready for her forever home. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Mr. Nano is in the house! This older gentlemen is a spry older gentleman and is your typical Doxy mix. He is just the sweetest, wanting as much attention as you can give him, and is very protective of his foster's house. He gets along with the other dogs in the foster home, but would be just as content being your one and only. He came to DASH with 2 other dachshunds when their owners left them abandoned in a house. He is crate trained, but is still working on his leash manners and housetraining, so a fenced yard is recommended, but not required. His new family will need to continue to work with him on these. He has not been kid tested. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 12, 2024, 1:33 pm

Story
Daisy and Donut are 2 yrs old. The perfect age as they are all grown out of the puppy stages. They are both housebroken and just the sweetest lovable dogs. They are current on all vaccinations and preventatives and have been spayed and neutered. Daisy is a little more high energy but not excessive. She is wonderful especially if she has a chewy bone or toy. Not destructive, she just likes something to chew on. Donut is lower energy but still loves to chase a ball and play with his sibling. They both know sit and will shake when asked as well. Leash and kennel trained and will sleep in their kennel 8-9 hours with no problems. They are great dogs and their family does not want to give them up but they have had a coupled unexpected deaths in the family and unforeseen circumstances that make it unfair for these two as far as time and space. Their current family would love for them to go together and the adoption fees can be adjusted accordingly if we can find a spot together for them both. We will consider single applications if we can’t find a home together. Once adopted Daisy and Donut will will travel via private transport (transport cost is $165.00) to a location closest to you. If you would like to make this family of two part of your life and home please follow the link below to our application. https://forms.gle/APKvbgFJcaRvgKgk9
