Charlotte and Biscuit are a bonded pair of Dachshunds. Charlotte is 12 years old and Biscuit is 10 years old. They were surrendered to Rico as their owner with advanced Alzheimer could no longer care for them. Both dogs were in bad shape. Rico has placed them in a foster home where they are getting the care they need to treat their skin issues, matted hair, ear infections and provide them with dental care. Both dogs are obese and need to lose weight. Despite their past, Biscuit and Charlotte are soaking up the love in their foster home. They are snuggling on the couch, playing with toys and getting along with other dogs and even kids. If you see this senior pair in your future, please apply at ricopetrecovery.org to meet them. The adoption fee for Charlotte is $200.

Hes gaining weight, learning how to be an indoor dog, and soaking up all the love. Lenny is fully vetted, adores attention, and quietly sleeps through the night in his crate. Hes also working hard on his house training and making great progress.This sweet boy is still learning what it means to feel secure, and hes looking for a patient, loving forever family to help him continue growing into the confident house dog we know he can be.
