Meet Capri, the Little Low Rider with a Big Heart
Imagine a tiny dog with a gigantic personality, waiting patiently for her forever home. Capri, a sweet and gentle soul, is often overlooked, but we're here to tell her story and capture your heart.
Capri's journey began in a heartbreaking scene, where she and her sister were found waiting by their deceased mother and siblings. Scared, sad, and alone, they needed a miracle. Thankfully, they were rescued and are now ready to find their forever families.
Capri is a unique gem, with a personality that unfolds like a rose in bloom. At first, she may seem calm and quiet, but as she gets to know you, her fun-loving side emerges. She loves to run around, play, and shower you with kisses and snuggles. This little low rider has a big heart, and she's waiting for someone to love her unconditionally.
As a companion, Capri is perfect. She's house-trained, crate-trained, and loves to walk on a leash. She's a great listener, always happy to curl up in your lap and enjoy some quiet time. When you're away, she'll wait patiently for your return, eager to greet you with a wagging tail and a snuggle.
We're looking for an extra-loving family to give her the love and attention she deserves. She's on the lookout too so don't be surprised when you come to see her, you're pulled in by her big, soft, gentle eyes and immediately fall for her...she's that special.

Capri has settled in to her foster's home in New Jersey. She will be at our Saturday Event looking for her forever home.
Once a stray facing the harsh reality of a high-kill shelter, Capri’s life was turned around when MatchDog Rescue stepped in to save her. Now safe and ready for her forever home, Capri excitedly awaits finding her new family. Adopting her is easy, and the fee is affordable – Capri is ready to be your perfect match!
As with all young dogs, Capri's weight may increase. Please allow for this possible increase in weight. We will post weight updates if it changes.
