Story
Meet Aaron! Your new family member and  cuddle buddy. He came from a hoarding situation where he didn’t get a lot of individual attention, so he’s learning to soak up all the love her can! He is very timid at first, but loves treats and being on the couch with you. He will need someone to be patient and give him time to settle in with his new family. He just really doesn’t understand that he safe and loved now. He is a gentle, loving, calm boy. He is so quiet and loves to nap while you watch tv. He is 7 years old and weighs 16 pounds. He is a dachshund mix with the long body, stubby legs, and ears known to the breed. He is great with other dogs - both small and large. He really doesn’t pay them much attention and is happy to co-exist. He doesn’t bother cats at all. He is working on his house training and doing great. He is crate trained and great in the car. He is working on leash walking, but still needs some work to feel comfortable. He currently requires a securely fenced yard. He would do best with kids 15 and over due to his nervousness. We think a quiet, relaxed home would be great for him to come out of his shell. Meet Buddy! He came from a hoarding situation where he didn’t get a lot of individual attention, so he’s learning to soak up all the love her can! This poor boy is so young and just doesn’t understand that he is safe and can relax. He is very timid at first and will need someone to be patient and give him time to settle in with his new family. He is a gentle, calm boy. He is so quiet and still learning to come out of his shell. He is 3  years old and weighs 18 pounds. He has the most unique markings. He is a dachshund / chihuahua mix with the long body and stubby legs of a dachshund and the face and ears of a chihuahua. He is great with other dogs - both small and large. He really doesn’t pay them much attention and is happy to co-exist. He doesn’t bother cats at all. He is working on his house training crate training. He also is working on leash walking, but still needs some work to feel comfortable. He currently requires a securely fenced yard. He would do best with kids 15 and over due to his nervousness. We were told she is 2 years but think more like 4-5, 10 pounds.  Sadie is shy at first, needs time to feel comfortable; then a devoted best friend, who loves lap time, being close. She gets along with the other dogs, plays a little, cuddles; can be jealous of lap time with just a tiny growl. She also enjoys yard time. Sadie would love an owner who'd spend lots of time with her.
