Story
Meet Fritz! A confident dachund mix with beautiful blue eyes (with a dash of brown). DOB:12.5.24 Curious and friendly, Fritz loves to seek out attention! He loves treats and will make faces to convince you to give him more. He's a smart little guy and settles in pretty quickly to new situations. He'll explore but come back to check in every couple of minutes. He was raised with another dog so he can be part of a household with other canines. Fritz had a hard start in life where he just didn't get enough food or love. He's making up for lost time! To meet Fritz apply at emotionalrescuedogs.org. He is vaccinated and microchipped. His adoption fee is $500. Emotional Rescue is devoted to helping the most desperate puppies and dogs: those searching for safety, homeless, hungry, often hurt by humans and needing care, love and comfort.  The dog you're reading about wouldn't have survived without rescue.  It has learned to trust and discovered the dog it was meant to be.  When you adopt with Emotional Rescue, you become part of our dog loving community where you can always get support and advice.  You also help the NEXT desperate dog get help at Emotional Rescue because there is now an open spot in a foster home.  You're part of a chain reaction.  Welcome to Emotional Rescue! ##2491206##

Story
If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please complete  an Adoption Request Form. This is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about our adoption process, please visit our Adoption Process page on our website at www.rescuecrew.org. Alfred, or “Alfie” for short, is a sweet chi mix whose little life didn’t get off to a great start and is still working on trusting his surroundings.  He loves to play with other dogs his own size and after a good romp will curl up in the same bed for naptime together.  While he is wary of new people, he is quickly learning that belly pets are kind of a great thing.  He has even learned that if he climbs the pet steps it leads to the foster’s comfy bed where he can snuggle right in! Due to his skittish temperament, it is recommended Alfie be placed in a home with children over the age of 10. Also, because of his deep connection with other dogs, Alfie needs to be placed in a household with another canine friend. A few facts about Alfie: His favorite game is tug. Bring it on! He LOVES to snuggle….with other dogs and in cozy places.  We think with time and patience, he will actually be a real snuggle bug! Alfie comes to you housetrained.  No accidents!  He will bark when excited but is not overly vocal. While he isn’t afraid of a kennel, he is not considered kennel trained. Alfie has not been cat tested and his prey drive is unknown. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.  The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Application prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. For the most complete information regarding this animal, and all of our adoptable pets, please ensure you are visiting our website directly at www.RescueCrew.org. You can also access the necessary online adoption application here as well.  ##2641173##

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. //   Find our applications at www.midwestanimalrescue.orgAdoption Fee $400 plus taxWalter is a goofy and cuddly guy who wants to be near his people. He loves laying in the sun, going on walks, treats & toys and being under the covers.    Walter needs a fully fenced yard as he can be quite the escape artist. He likes to run for short bursts in the yard and find smells to roll in.  Walter gets along with his two resident dogs, but is still learning polite greetings with new dogs.   Walter is very curious, and needs someone who can be patient and reassure him. He is still working on leash training and is currently demonstrating some reactivity with other dogs. Based on the fosters observations we beleive that Walter may be hard of hearing.   Walter is left home with the resident dogs for a few hours at a time. He is known to be a snoop and counter surfer, so he is put in a room with our resident dog. He will settle when left with a doggy friend.    Walter picks up on patterns and routines quickly. He is not a quiet boy and will express his needs.   At this time, we do not how Walter does with kids or cats. Walter tends to be curious, cautious and skittish around new animals and meeting people outside the home.    Currently we are working on basic obedience and leash etiquette. Walter seems to have some reduced hearing and vision. We suspect it's genetic/congenital. He does not seem to be in any pain from it and we are working with MARS Vet to keep tabs on it. If you have previously applied with us please email adoptionatmars@gmail.com to reactivate your application with new interest. All fees are subject to MN sales tax and a processing fee at the time of adoption. We accept Credit cards, Debit cards as well as cash. At this time we do not accept checks.   Our Adoption fees for all animals cover required vetting: which includes, Rabies, Distemper Vaccine Series, Bordetella, Deworming, Heartworm Test as age appropriate, Spay or Neuter and Microchip and registration. Adoption Fees are Non Negotialble. All fees are subject to MN sales tax and a processing fee at the time of adoption.   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.  or    When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.  Long Distance Adoptions: Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption. We require a meet of the pet prior to adoption, which means coming to MARS.  We do not transport to potential adopters. How to learn more about a pet: Complete the application (click on the button above) to start our process for adopting or fostering a MARS Pet. Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks. Post Adoption: Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. We highly recommend Pet Insurance.  Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance. Pet Breeds: The pet you are viewing is a rescued pet which is most often from an animal control facility or Shelter partner. The breed(s) listed are our best guess and are in no way guaranteed. If you choose to DNA test your adopted pet, test results may vary from company to company and our breed guess may not be reflected in those results as it is just that, our best guess without knowing a pet’s full history. //

Story
Meet Lucita (aka Lucy ) — your future snuggle buddy with a splash of sass! At 3 years old, Lucita is the perfect blend of playful and cozy. She’s a social butterfly who gets along wonderfully with other dogs and cats, making her an easy addition to a multi-pet home. Originally from Mexico, Lucy is still acclimating to the cold, but she’s learning that sweaters, warm beds, and cuddling close to her people make chilly days much better. Lucy loves being near her humans and will happily follow you from room to room. She’s quiet in her kennel, working on potty training, and is eager to keep learning with a consistent routine. When playtime hits, her spunky and sassy personality shines—especially when she does her cute little hops to let you know she’s ready for fun. She can get a bit mouthy when she’s excited, so a home with older kids who understand dog boundaries would be best. Once she’s gotten her wiggles out, Lucy transforms into the ultimate couch companion and will snuggle up with you for a full movie marathon in bed without complaint. If you’re looking for a dog who’s equal parts playful, affectionate, and loyal—Lucita might just be your perfect match.  Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $450.00 Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 16, 2026, 10:19 am
