They are dog friendly, potty trained and ready for their happily ever after. Currently living in Milwaukee with a loving foster. Transportation is available for approved out of state adopters.

They guessed I am a Dachshund/ Spaniel mix who is about 2 1/2 years old when I was found as a stray. I’m still very much a puppy at heart, sweet and very mischievous! I’m still learning the ropes of living in a house and have made great strides. I wear a belly band at night, but during the day don’t need one! I live with large and small dogs in my foster home and really want to play all day long! There are cats in my foster home as well and they are so fun! I do like to play and chase them so if your cat doesn’t play like a dog your house might not be the best fit for me. I go in the crate occasionally when my foster mom goes to work. I don’t like it in there and will let everyone know for a few minutes before settling down. I would love to live with another dog who also likes to play, but that’s not required if my humans will play with me. We are Flynn and Rider! Like thieves in the night we'll steal your heart. Flynn and Rider are absolutely gorgeous and active puppies looking for forever homes to finally call their own. Flynn is a bit more reserved than his brother but he still loves to go play. He'll come sit by your feet or even show you rocks he's found. He loves to snuggle and can be a bit quirky sometimes! Don't get Tangled in our cute-pie puppy eyes! Flynn's blazing a new trail of life, had Parvo and they were unsure if he was gonna make it. Now he's recovered and making the most of life! These pups have healthy appetites and will stop when full. Will graze later after activities. Their mom has short legs and longer body, pointy ears, narrow face. Might be corgi/dachshund mixes and be energetic little terrier dogs. They have cute, little, wobbly legs. Like to play, run, really good at getting them outside, commands to get them outside, go pee command. Eager to learn, observant, smart. Will need leash training most likely. Will walk on leash, don't pull, but are going through a chewing stage. Not a lot of experience with other dogs. Interested in playing with other dogs, look through door to see the other dogs. No experience with cats or children so please introduce them slowly. Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $500 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Rhonda and DoritoThey say opposites attract, and these two are living proof odds that! Meet Rhonda and Dorito. The pair ended up in an impound and needed a place to land. So, here they are, and what a couple they make! Dorito is the handsome Dachshund and Rhonda the beautiful lab mix. Of, course, we all know the little guy is the boss! He really is sweet, and his mate Rhonda is a sweetie, too. Second chances are hard to come by in the rescue world, especially for a bonded pair. These two are made for each other and made to stay together. Apply and come meet them. Adoption fee $400 (pair) + $30 microchip fee + tax

Hi, I’m sweet Reesie and although I look a little scared in my pictures, I’m pretty outgoing. I can be a little hesitant in new situations and I’ll pancake to the ground. As soon as I get comfortable, which doesn’t take long, I am wagging and running and giving lots of kisses in no time. I love life and am so happy to be in Minnesota. I currently live with one of my friends in an xpen and we love to run and play, then we cuddle up in a cozy dog bed and nap. I’m such a sweetie and I can’t wait to find my forever family! Reesie is estimated to be 3 months old and 14 lbs. Since we don’t know the dog’s actual genetics, this is just a guess on breed and size when grown. All dogs have had a vet examination, are up to date on all vaccinations, have been given dewormer and heartworm prevention. Dogs over 7 months have been heartworm tested. Welcome Daisey to CCPAL foster program. She is an 8-year-old Dachshund/Corgi is our best guess. She has a longer body and upright ears. She is a scenting breed for sure. She is active and social and not the couch potato dog. She weighs 25 pounds. She is good with a dog smaller and a dog larger. The larger dog is a pit Bull and she does good with that more dominant dog as well. She is around children and is a great dog for a family with kiddos. She has a 5 year old and a baby in her home. This family has found they have to move into a rental house. The rental house will only allow 2 dogs. They are sad but there is no other option. Pit Bulls are tougher to rehome so she is rehoming her favorite dog. She was crying telling this story. Daisey is potty trained, good on a leash, good in a car, good with other dogs, kids and strangers. She will need a fenced yard or walked on a leash. She can catch a scent and wonder off. She has a nice sturdy body and will make a great companion for an active family or active senior. She can be an only dog or go with another dog. This dog has a lot of good years in front of her and is by no means an old acting dog. She is in good health, vaccinated, spayed and ready for her forever home. She is a shedding dog but only moderately. She is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to help get her to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states.
