Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Billy Hope is a spunky, playful, and affectionate puppy with so much love to give! He has a lively personality and loves to engage with people and other dogs. His favorite way to show he’s excited when he sees you is with a little pirouette, though he knows he’s not supposed to jump on you! Billy’s enthusiasm is contagious, and he’ll bring tons of energy and joy into your home. Billy is crate-trained, loves his toys, and does well in the car. As a pup with a tough start to life, he can be protective of his food, and he’s still learning to trust and needs a family that will continue with intentional socialization to help him build confidence. Billy is a young puppy with a lifetime ahead of him to be whatever kind of companion you are looking for. Whether you need a cozy couch buddy or an exercise partner, Billy will happily fill that role. He just wants a family to call his own, and with the right guidance, he will grow into a well-adjusted, confident dog. If you’re looking for a sweet, playful pup who just needs a little time and patience to blossom, Billy Hope is the one for you. He’s ready to find a family who will love him. Billy Hope is from Texas. They arrive in Minnesota on 4/5 and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN between the hours of 9AM and 12PM. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Mickey, a playful and affectionate puppy with a big heart and an eagerness to please! Mickey is crate trained, great in the car and loves to be on the go. He’s always ready to play with toys or enjoy some quality time with his humans. Mickey thrives on interaction with both people and other dogs. While he's still a puppy and learning impulse control, he’s a fast learner and, with a little patience, he’ll become an even better companion. Be mindful of his teething stage—he loves to explore with his mouth, so be prepared for some puppy nibbles! Mickey is resilient and, with a little extra confidence-building, he’ll become even more outgoing and sure of himself. He’s a curious little guy, always investigating sticks, leaves, or other fun objects he finds along his way. If you're looking for a sweet and loving companion who will brighten your day, Mickey might be the perfect addition to your home. He's affectionate, playful, and ready to shower you with love once he's had the chance to settle in and build his confidence. Mickey O'Neill is from Texas. Story
Location: Madison Lake, MN Sammy is a gentle young soul. He deeply loves nature and enjoys exploring the outdoors, excitedly sniffing everything around him. His tail wags joyfully when he walks with his loved ones, and his sweet smile gets even bigger. He is learning to walk politely and will become an excellent companion with patience. Despite his youthful energy, he enjoys relaxing with his foster family on the couch. He loves belly rubs and gazing into the eyes of those who care for him. Sammy knows that treats are on the way if he pays attention and puts on his listening ears. With consistent learning, he can become the best dog for a family. Everyday is an exciting opportunity for him to discover new things! My dream family would… Go on adventure walks in the neighborhood and the woods. Allow me time to rest, but spoil me with daily exercise so I stay healthy. Let me cuddle next to you as we watch a movie together. Embrace my youth and help me learn new things. I would love to take a class to become an excellent student. Just the other day, I got an A+ on my mile walk! --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Hi everypawdy. The name is Oscar. Oscar Mayer Wiener to be exact. 🌭 I am 1 year old and weigh 12 lbs. I am such a sweet boy. I get along with dogs of all sizes but prefer the small ones. I need a doggy friend in my home who is very well rounded, good with humans and animals, and most importantly LOVES to cuddle with me. Ideally my cuddle buddy is small like me too! I get along with all humans too. I’m still learning hands reaching for me are a good thing so you’ll have to be patient with me. As I learn to trust you, I’ll stop and let you pick me up. But I am a flight risk and door dasher. I will need a securely fenced yard because of this. I am also working on my leash skills. I don’t have it nailed down yet so I wouldn’t say I’m leash trained but I’m working really hard and making progress. I’m potty trained on a schedule. I am not a fan of being locked in a crate, although I do enjoy taking naps in them with my foster sibling. When you have to leave the house, I do best when left free with my foster sibling in a dog safe room. If you are gone too long, I know to use my potty pad that’s in my doggy room. I do get very excited for meal time and I might bark or whine at you to hurry up with my food. But other than that, I’m a pretty quiet guy. I’m enjoying starting to play with toys. I love the crinkly ones and squeaky ones. So much fun squeaking a squeaker and playing fetch! I enjoy all treats which helps me work on my training because I’m really food motivated. I like bully sticks, yak chews, beef trachea, kongs, and lick mats. You name it, I’ll probably love it. I do well in the car when I ride in my doggy hammock with a doggy friend and with a seatbelt to keep me secure. If I ride in a crate I get car sick a lot easier and it gives me more anxiety. I do great for bath time. I LOVE to cuddle. I will snuggle next to you or on your lap when we are on the couch and I will cuddle you all night long in bed and I’ll probably sneak in some kisses too. I love soft cozy blankets to snuggle into. If you can be patient, gentle, and loving with me, I will continue to blossom into such an amazing dog. You won’t be disappointed. Oh one last note, you might be wondering why my hair isn't grown in perfectly. After many vet appointments, tests and treatments, my dermatologist vet believes I have ischemic dermatopathy/vasculitis. This is a non-contagious condition and it doesn't bother me one bit. I'm currently on some medication to see if it will help my hair grow back but only time will tell. For now, I hope you love me just the way I am. **due to being a flight risk, Oscar Mayer will need to stay within 60 miles of the Twin Cities metro area**
