Honey is looking for fun-loving family to call her own! - Around 6 years - Currently 20lbs fully grown - Good with kids, cats and dogs - Adoption fee: $400 To inquire about this dog, please email dogs@adoptapetfenton.com. Include information about your family and pets, what you are looking for in a canine companion, how you plan to exercise and train this dog, and why this specific dog seems like a good fit for your family. Those who provide the previous information will be considered first for this canine. Please do NOT call our center. This will help us match you and the animal the best we can. We usually respond via email within 24-48 hours; please check your spam folder if you don't hear from us. Dog adoption fees include spay/neuter, rabies vaccine (if age-appropriate), distemper/parvo combination vaccine, leptospirosis vaccine (if age-appropriate), bordetella vaccine, deworming, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm preventative, flea preventative, a dental cleaning (if necessary), and a microchip. Future vaccines, tests, and treatments will be the responsibility of the adopter.

Story
Archie is an 8 month old Chocolate and Tan smooth Mini Dachshund. He has been neutered and is up to date on his vaccines, heartworm and stool tests. He has also been microchipped. Achie is a very sweet and affectionate boy that loves to play with toys. He is a bit bossy with other small dogs and would probably do well with a dominant female or larger dog. He gets along with cats. He will need a refresher on leash and housetraining. I am looking for a family or individual without small children that will give this chubby boy lots of exercise and love and attention. His adoption fee is $650. A secure fenced yard and veterinary reference are an absolute must to adopt Archie. Absolutely no tie outs or invisible fences. Please call or email Marie for more information. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Romeo, oh such a suitable name for this goofy, loving dog. Romeo is a 9 year young Dachshund mix. He is great with other dogs and very sociable with humans. Very food motivated and he can hear the cheese wrapper from any distance. Romeo is looking for a permanent home, preferably one without stairs. The coordination in his rear legs is not perfect,but on flat ground he is as fast as the other dogs and he love to run and play wrestle. Romeo is not an early riser, he likes to sleep in on a soft bed close to the warm air vent.  Romeo is incontinent. Romeo has limited bladder control. He leaks urine when his bladder is full. He walks as he pees and is unaware of this, he could wear doggie diapers but he would need to be trained to keep them on. Romeo will not be able to become 100% housebroken due to his neurological problem.** If Romeo is let out often he keeps clean inside most of the time.** Romeo loves his human with ALL his heart . He has lots of needs but lots of love to give. This guy is definitely worth the work. If you think you're that special person who can help Romeo and give him a forever home fill out an application. Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to  Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $69.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information.  Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost. The owner of Arlo, Lainey and 4 other akc registered doxies was living in a rental home with 4 children and the landlord said the dogs had to go. Her mom took them while she was supposed to find another place to live but that did not happen. Her mom had 3 dogs of her own and was overwhelmed so she asked for help. All the dogs are sweet but we took Arlo and Lainey. These two are quite bonded so we are going to try to place them together. They are both spay/neutered, UTD on vaccines and HW negative, They will also be microchipped. In their original home, they were left on a self feeder and I am afraid Arlo overindulged. He needs a home where they will go for walks and watch their diets. but he is so so sweet and cute! Loves cuddles and kisses! They both seem to be reliably housetrained. Arlo is a red pie bald and Lainey is a black and tan wirehaired doxie. Arlo was born on 8/13/2020 so he is 4 years old, Lainey is 3.
