Meet Latte, a gentle and curious soul who is eager to discover what it truly means to be a beloved pet. Rescued from a hoarding case, Latte is learning to embrace love and care, and is ready to experience all the joys of being a dog, with your help! This sweet boy is playful yet quiet, and will need a little extra time and patience to warm up to you. But once he does, Latte loves to be close, snuggling up and nuzzling your neck. He is learning how to walk on a leash, getting more used to strangers, and learning to go potty outside (pad trained). Latte is on the lookout for a foster-to-adopt family who can offer him a physical fenced-in yard to explore (as he may be a flight risk due to his shy nature), and perhaps even a furry sibling to help boost his confidence. Children 8 years old or older would be best. He is a friendly and gentle boy who just needs someone to show him what it's like to be a happy, healthy dog. With free dog training included, you'll be able to guide Latte towards a brighter future and help him leave his uncertain past behind. At around 10 months old, Latte is a young dog full of potential, ready to embrace all the love and care you can offer. Could you be the one to show him what it's all about? We were told that Latte was a Dachshund/Catahoula mix, 22 lbs., updated on vaccines, and will be neutered in the near future. Doc & Odie came to my home on 12/20/25 from an elderly woman who wanted to find them a good home as a bonded pair. They are definitely bonded to each other in a sweet, caring manner. They are low key, wonderful senior boys. I did the right thing in assisting to remove them from a not-so-great environment and into my care. My home life is evolving, and I truly need to find them a permanent home together. They will bring great joy to the right person. They are "sleep in the bed with you" kinds of guys and never move all night. They are grateful for love and security. They are good souls and deserve love for the rest of their lives.
