"A THREE HOUR TOUR!!" This was the plan... and we thought it was a good one!! I mean we went through a tour company and EVERYTHING!!! However, here we are!! The fun and FABULOUS crew, we were literally living under the sidewalk outside an elementary school!! We would come out and eat from the LUNCH LADY :) and greet the kids! But they didn't want us to stay there, too close to a road AND we are PUPPIES!! So we are with our wonderful foster mums (Moonpie waited for the nice rescue teacher to get out of work before she showed her face!!) and we are READY for ACTION!! ***CUT**** We are somewhat nervous when we first meet you, however, our cute and ADVENTUROUS side comes out pretty quickly! We would each do best with another dog to play with and cuddle with :) ADOPT ONE OF US SOON!! Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Story
If you love dogs with a big heart, a total snuggle bug, one who longs to be your lap dog and best friend, but has a small frame and little legs to match? Well look no further because Meghan Peanut Markel was made for you! Not only is she incredibly sweet but she is absolutely adorable!! So get ready for your phone to be overrun with Meghan content because that’s exactly what is going to happen the second you bring her home. Watch her video and fall in love with her: https://youtu.be/cQ-ztshK1RE?si=DDNUiPAVLgaCzqzE Meghan Markel is a Dachshund mix approximately 1 year old and currently weighs about 20lbs. She’s a little girl and the perfect size for lap snuggles, which are a favorite of hers! She is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it’s always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. Meghan is a bit shy at first when meeting new people, in new environments and may take a little time to warm up, but once she does, she’s all about affection and spoiling you with her gentle love. She truly shines as a lap dog and is happiest curled up close to her person, soaking in love and giving it right back. Her energy level is beautifully balanced, not too busy and not too sleepy. Just the right amount of energy, the kind of pup who fits perfectly into your routine. She enjoys getting out for walks (and walks nicely on a leash!) but is just as content relaxing at home snuggled up next you on the couch binge watching your favorite show or movie. She’s dog-friendly and has done great with every dog we have introduced her to. She has met dogs her size and smaller and has also been around dogs twice her size! No matter the size, Meghan has shown to be a polite gentle lady when she meets a dog on leash and shows that same level of gentleness when meeting dogs off leash. She isn’t a super playful girl with other dogs; she prefers calm companionship over rough-and-tumble play. Meghan has the kind of easygoing personality that allows her to thrive in many living situations. Her well-balanced energy level and polite leash manners make her a great neighbor-friendly companion. She would also be perfectly happy in a suburban home with a backyard, where she could enjoy sniffing around, sunbathing, and lounging after her walks. While she’d appreciate outdoor access, she doesn’t rely on a yard to be fulfilled; her happiness comes from companionship, not square footage. If you’re looking for a loyal little companion who bonds deeply, loves cuddles, and brings a steady, comforting presence into your life, Meghan may be exactly who you’ve been waiting for. We are willing to test Meghan Markel with anything you need in order to ensure it's a perfect match. We can make anything happen! Just let us know. Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? Story
Rooster may be small, but his personality is huge. This little guy struts through life with confidence, charm, and just the right amount of sass to make him absolutely unforgettable. He’s playful, energetic, and always ready to jump into whatever fun is happening around him. Rooster loves to stay busy. He’s constantly moving, exploring, and engaging with everything and everyone around him. Whether he’s playing with his siblings, chasing after toys, or bouncing around the room, he brings a lively and joyful energy wherever he goes. Watch his YouTube video now https://youtu.be/jooUMvEZY6I?si=F7fPQIw7m0ey7kSO And just like the rest of his crew—Rooster is wildly obsessed with treats. He takes snack time very seriously and will do just about anything to earn one. His determination is both impressive and hilarious, and it makes him a great candidate for learning new tricks as he grows. Despite his playful and spunky nature, Rooster also has a sweet side. He enjoys attention, loves being around people, and will happily soak up affection once he’s gotten some of that puppy energy out. At around two months old, Rooster is still discovering the world, and he approaches everything with excitement and curiosity. He’s looking for a home that will appreciate his big personality, keep up with his playful spirit, and give him all the love he deserves. Rooster isn’t just a puppy—he’s a tiny entertainer, a loyal little companion, and a whole lot of fun wrapped into one adorable package. https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/69bd8a5a6bb3afb43b038786 Questions? Story
Winnie is the kind of dog who quietly steals your heart in the softest, most genuine way. Around two years old and a charming dachshund-terrier mix, she’s the perfect combination of playful energy, cuddly affection, and sweet, soulful personality. With her adorable little face and loving nature, Winnie has a way of making every moment feel a little warmer and a lot more special. Once Winnie feels comfortable with you, she turns into the ultimate lovebug. She adores attention and has the cutest way of asking for it—if you reach out to pet her, she will gently lean in and rub her face against your arm, soaking up every bit of affection. And if you stop petting her? She’s quick to remind you, nudging your hand or placing her head under it as if to say, “Excuse me, you forgot something very important.” It’s nearly impossible not to smile around her. Winnie is a big fan of cuddles and truly enjoys being close to her people. She loves to snuggle up and share quiet, cozy moments, but she also has a fun, playful side. She enjoys going outside, exploring, and having little bursts of energy where she can run around and enjoy herself. She’s the kind of dog who can keep up with a bit of playtime, then happily settle in for some well-earned cuddle time afterward. Currently, Winnie is thriving in a foster home where she is living with multiple other dogs and people, and she is doing wonderfully. She loves being around people and is especially fond of anyone willing to give her attention. She enjoys the company of other dogs as well and has shown that she can coexist and engage in positive ways within a group. Whether she’s playing, exploring, or simply hanging out, Winnie finds comfort in being part of a loving environment. Like many dogs, Winnie can feel a bit nervous when she is first introduced to new environments or new people. New places can be overwhelming for her at first, and she may be a little shy or unsure. But what makes Winnie so special is how quickly she warms up. With a little patience and kindness, she opens her heart and blossoms into the sweet, affectionate, playful dog she truly is. Once she trusts you, her personality shines, and you get to see just how loving and joyful she can be. Winnie is the kind of dog who just wants to be a good girl and share happy moments with her people. She is gentle, loving, and incredibly endearing. Her sweet nature and eagerness to bond make her the kind of companion who will grow deeply attached to her forever family and thrive with love and consistency. She would do well in a home that can give her a little time and understanding as she adjusts, along with plenty of affection, patience, and encouragement. In return, Winnie will give you endless love, loyalty, and some of the most heart-melting moments you can imagine. From her gentle face rubs to her cuddle requests, she has a way of making you feel truly loved and needed. If you are looking for a dog who will adore you, make you smile every day, and become your most loyal little shadow, Winnie is ready to meet you. She’s sweet, she’s loving, she’s playful, and she’s waiting for the person who will see just how special she truly is. Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? Story
Duke is the life of the party and the definition of a happy, playful puppy. This little guy has so much personality packed into his tiny body, and he uses every bit of it to make sure everyone around him is smiling. He’s always on the move, always ready to play, and always looking for his next bit of fun. Duke has that goofy, lovable energy that makes him impossible not to adore. He’ll bounce around with his siblings, zoom across the room, and then suddenly stop to look at you like, “Did you see that?!”—he’s truly a character. Watch his YouTube video now https://youtu.be/jooUMvEZY6I?si=F7fPQIw7m0ey7kSO And let’s talk about his true love in life: treats. Duke is completely, unapologetically obsessed. If you have snacks, you instantly become his favorite person. He’ll try his very best to impress you with his puppy charm, and honestly… it works every time. This also makes him incredibly eager to learn and easy to train as he grows. At just around two months old, Duke is still a baby with a big world ahead of him. He’s curious, friendly, and loves being part of the action. He enjoys being around people and would thrive in a home where he can get lots of attention, playtime, and, of course, the occasional treat. Duke is the kind of puppy who will keep you laughing, keep you moving, and keep your heart full. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, happy companion, Duke is ready to be your best buddy. https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/69bd8a4ca30bd0bdeb0f604e Questions?
