Story
Hello, My name is Lola! I am a sweet boxer/ dachshund mix. I am approx. 3 years old and weigh about 25-30 lbs. I am very good with kids of all ages and has never met a stranger. I like other non- reactive dogs. I have not met a cat at this time. However my rescue can cat test upon request! I am also housebroken but cannot be left out of my crate when no one is home because I will chew anything and everything in sight. I am currently eating Purina one but I also love boiled chicken, peas, or sweet potatoes. I do pull on my leash when walked, but, we are working on that. I cant wait to find my forever home! If you have a fenced in yard, that would be awesome because I need a lot of play time! I also love to play with toys! My rescue has made sure that I am UTD, microchipped, on a flea and tick and heartworm pill and spayed. Please reach out if you are interested. Thank you! This animal is being fostered in the South but transport to a location near you is included in your adoption fee. We use Rescue Riders Pet Transport, (www.rescueridersllc.net), the most animal-friendly transport on the road.

Please ensure you understand and can meet the needs of this dog before applying. &#226&#151&#143 Energy level: high &#226&#151&#143 Potty training: pee pads/working on it &#226&#151&#143 Fenced yard: not required &#226&#151&#143 Shared walls: okay &#226&#151&#143 People: all (including children) &#226&#151&#143 Dogs: small, energetic &#226&#151&#143 Other:  Applicant must be willing to foster to adopt since Noah is not neutered y et. Overview Meet Noah, a sweet, social Dachshund/Maltese mix puppy looking for his forever home! Noah is an adorable 2-month-old pup with a beautiful all-black smooth coat. At just 10 pounds, this little charmer is full of puppy energy and affection. He was surrendered to Little Paws along with his sister Mila, and now he's ready to find his perfect family. Environment Noah is still a young puppy with lots of energy who needs daily playtime to keep him happy and stimulated. He has just begun leash training, and he'll need an adopter committed to providing proper exercise as he grows. A fenced yard would be great but not required, for Noah's energy level and to help with his continued potty-training journey. Noah is currently using pee pads and is making progress with his training, but he'll need patient guidance to fully master this skill. He's already sleeping well through the night—a big accomplishment for such a young pup! Noah views his crate as a happy place, which is wonderful for his continued training. He’s not too chatty so shared walls are fine. Pets & People Noah is a social butterfly who loves all people and will run right up to meet them without any shyness. He's been great with children and enjoys making new human friends of all ages. He needs an adopter with time to devote to playing, exercise and training. When it comes to other dogs, Noah is very playful—sometimes to the point of barking to let them know he wants to play if they're not engaging with him. He's currently living with his sister and gets along well with other small, energetic dogs. Noah eats very quickly and may occasionally try to steal food from his sister, so a slow feeder might be beneficial as he grows. Also, be careful with charger cables around this curious pup! Location Noah is available for adoption from Miami, Florida and to applicants living in Southern Florida. He hasn't had much car experience yet (and had an accident in his crate on the way to the vet), but he's small and portable. Please email   Juliejohnson@littlepawsdr.org  with any questions or complete an adoption application at the button above. The adoption fee for Noah is $450. Story
Meet Jayna! She’s an adorable, sweet little wire hair dachshund/terrier mix. She’s about 3 pounds at 7 weeks old and should be under 20 pounds full grown.IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. You can read more about transport here: www.charmingpetrescue.org/transportWe understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.March 23, 2025, 5:37 am

Meet Sylvie – Your Spirited Sidekick for Life’s Adventures Looking for a pup with personality, brains, and a sparkle in her eye? Meet Sylvie—the mischievous little sister of the litter who’s guaranteed to keep you smiling. Rescued alongside her six siblings, Sylvie quickly stood out as the fearless explorer, always leading the way into fun (and a little harmless trouble!). She’s smart, curious, and always up for an adventure. Whether she’s splashing in water, inventing her own games, or charming everyone she meets, Sylvie does everything with enthusiasm. She adores her littermates, loves people, and will happily tag along for whatever exciting plan you’ve got next. Sylvie’s the kind of dog who fills your life with laughter, love, and surprises. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, water-splashing, clever little companion who’s always one step ahead—Sylvie’s your girl.   Sammy, Sadie, Sandy, Sylvie, Solo, Sonny and Sterling.  ~ How Can They All Be Siblings? Believe it or not, it’s totally possible! A female dog can be bred by more than one male during her heat cycle, meaning a single litter can have multiple fathers. That’s why this adorable group of siblings looks so different—some with long coats, some short, some with dachshund legs, and others with terrier scruff or shepherd markings. Based on their appearance, this litter could have a mix of Dachshund, Boston Terrier, Pug, Miniature Australian Shepherd, Vizsla, Cairn Terrier… and who knows what else! One thing’s for sure—they’re all 100% sweet, 100% unique, and ready for forever homes.   Thank you for checking out our wonderful orphans. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Sterling – The Wise and Wonderful Leader Sterling may be just a pup, but he’s already showing signs of being an old soul. As the natural leader of his litter, he carries himself with quiet confidence and a thoughtful gaze that sets him apart. Abandoned with his six siblings in a trailer park, Sterling rose above his tough start with intelligence, resilience, and heart. While he loves to play and have fun, Sterling’s personality leans a bit more serious than his bouncier brothers. He’s incredibly smart and picks up on new things quickly—always observing, always thinking. His calm and composed nature makes him a joy to be around, and he connects well with people. Sterling would be a wonderful companion for someone looking for a loyal, clever, and loving friend. With him by your side, you’ll always feel like you’ve got a steady soul looking out for you. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Sadie – The Sweetest Sidekick You’ll Ever Meet Sadie may be the twin of her brother Sterling in looks, but she brings her own gentle magic to the mix. With her soft smile and go-with-the-flow nature, Sadie is the kind of pup who quietly wins your heart. She was rescued alongside her six siblings after being abandoned in a trailer park, and she’s been blossoming more every day. She’s not one to take the lead, but she’s a loyal little follower who loves being part of the pack—whether that pack includes people, dogs, or both. Sadie’s easygoing spirit makes her a great companion for just about any home. She doesn’t demand attention but happily soaks it in, always ready to tag along with whatever you’re doing. Sadie is joy in puppy form—gentle, loving, and always smiling. If you’re looking for a mellow best friend who will walk beside you with trust and warmth, Sadie is your girl.
