Put in your application soon!*** Please help me get out! I am currently in a place where there are lots of unwanted dogs and not all of us here get the chance I might have to leave! But in order to help me out of here to catch the ride to WI on March 28th and arrive on March 29th, I need *both* a sponsor, and a WI foster home *or* a WI adopter! I have a place for now, but I can't stay here forever and I am worried. The rescue has put a hold on me to save my spot on the trip up north to WI, but now they need YOUR help to get me there - don't wait!!! Updated: 2/18/2025 Dog Name: Roxie Sex: Female Estimated Breed: Corgi/Chihuahua Mix Approximate Age: 6 years Approximate Weight: 25 lbs Spay/Neuter Status: Spayed  Description:  Roxie was rescued as a puppy in Texas, she is fully vetted and was well loved. Unfortunately her owner passed away earlier this month and she is looking for her new forever. She is so friendly and wiggly and listens well! Roxie is housetrained! Her and her family member Cooper are best friends but don’t have to stay together.  Adoption Fee: $450  We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433   ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs once they're at least 6 months old. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months, they will need to be spayed/neutered by your veterinarian when they are between 6 to 8 months old. Proof that the spay/neuter has been completed will need to be submitted to Tailwaggers911. Once proof of the spay/neuter has been received, we will refund $100 of your adoption fee via Venmo, PayPal or have a check in the mail within 15 days. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as ADOPTION IN PROCESS, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . We have an online application that is very easy to fill out. March 5, 2025, 10:14 pm

Story
a year old, and still is pretty much a puppy. He needs someone who can help him with his anxiety and excitement reactivity. He has really bad separation anxiety and needs someone who can preferably be there with him while that gets worked out. He’s really sweet and loves people but is skeptical about dogs. I would be careful bringing him around other dogs as he’s been known to be protective sometimes but other times he wants to play with other dogs. I would also be careful with small kids. Even though he loves them, he’s been known to jump, and might get too excited. He is crate trained, but with his separation anxiety he can’t be left in the crate all alone in the house. Overall Reggie needs someone who has a good amount of time for him as well as experience in how to handle a herding breed/corgi. We wish we could keep him, but with the little amount of time we have, as well as our change in finances, this is our last resort. Please help us find a good home for Reggie.

Story
Meet Ducky!Quack Quack… It’s me, Ducky! I’m a 1-year-old, 15-pound bundle of energy with quite a story to tell. As a puppy, my world changed forever when my owner tragically passed away in a car accident. Thankfully, a rescue in the South took me in, gave me the care I needed, and helped me start a new journey. Soon after, I made my way north to Wisconsin, where I was quickly adopted by a loving owner.Unfortunately, life had another twist in store. My new mom suffered a serious injury and was no longer able to care for me. I spent some time with a kind lady and her small dogs, and while I was loved, it was clear I needed a forever home that could match my energy. That’s where Sandi Paws comes in!I’m a fun-loving guy who adores a good game of fetch—so a home with plenty of toys is a must! I don’t mind other dogs or cats, but I don’t necessarily need a furry sibling. What I would love is a family that enjoys daily walks and playtime. I’m doing well with house manners and potty training, and I’d be great with kids, especially ones who love to play!If you think I’m the one you’ve been looking for, waddle on up to sandipaws.org and fill out an application!Thank you for choosing SandiPaws Rescue. Please visit our site at sandipaws.org to fill out an application to adopt. You can find information for volunteering and donations on our site as well.
