Story
Meet Happy💜 Happy lived neglected within a fenced area of junkyard. The person who reported Happy to us was feeding Happy for a year and when the junkyard went bankrupt, the owner left and abandoned Happy. Please be Happy’s miracle and become his forever family. 🙏🏻 💟 Personality / Characteristics *Keyword: #Shortlegged #Lovebug #Lovestoeat *Energy level (1~10): Levels 6-7 *Happy can be shy at first time but once he opens up, he is a lovebug who keeps asking to be petted.😊 *Happy is not particularly interested in other doggy friends at Adogs Center! He is only interested in taking his own snacks and doesn’t care about other friends. He is an easygoing pup who can get along with other dogs! *Happy has some food obsession so he tends to eat fast. If he eats too quickly, he will cough and make a choking sound, so it’s important to help him eat slowly. *Likes to make markings from place to place and scratches the ground after he makes a marking!🤣 *When other dogs bark, Happy doesn’t bark at all. There is no unnecessary barking, but when he wants to be taken out of the kennel, he barks to make sure he is taken out.

Story
✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ Meet Victor🩷 Victor was discovered in a field of pebbles, tied with an ill-fitted collar and rescued by a Adogs volunteer. When she was rescued, she appeared terrified, surrounded by rotting food that had accumulated over time. However, she was rapidly turned around and showed signs of relief and tail-wagging as she warmed up. Is doing well with the foster family who is giving lots of care and affection. * Interaction with People : Absolutely loves people! Is a bit wary of strangers when she meets them outdoors but approaches and smells them as well as enjoys petting. Is so fond of being touched that she immediately lies down and exposes her tummy when the foster family touches her. Is wary and barks once at the doorstep when strangers visit the home, but is fine once they come in. Displays her interest by checking the location of the guest after hiding herself.  * Interaction with Dogs: Seems not to have many happy memories with other dogs, and not to like them. Gets along well with other dogs who she encounters at the puppy kindergarten. Gets tight with her fur standing on end, assumes a defensive stance when she encounters other dogs ehile walking. Is receiving training in desensitization gradually by rapidly backing away when she encounters a dog. * Interaction with Cat: Tends to be excited, growl and chase after cats who she may encounter during walks. Caution is necessary. * Separation Anxiety: When left alone, she appears nervous. Occasionally howls or makes pee mistakes when left alone. Is getting training with space separation and is improving gradually. Is ok as long as she has at least one family member present at home.  * Potty Training: Is so smart that she can use the potty pads even in a new environment. Is adept at indoor potty but prefers going outside to do potty. * Hygiene: Likes baths and enjoys being brushed! Fears having her ears cleaned so much that she needs to wear a neck collar during the ear cleansing. Is scared of toenail clippings and much walking would help her nails trimmed naturally. * Walks: Is a super skillful walker who can walk at a controlled pace. Is a perceptive dog that walks slowly with her foster mom and runs with her foster sister. Tends to pull on the leash when other dogs, cats, or birds passes by or feels urgent calling of nature. * Car Sickness: Is good at getting into cars, but once the car starts moving, she gets slightly nervous and feels a bit car sick. Gets anxious in the car when she is away from people and wants to go up on the legs. *Shedding: There is fur shedding during the molting season. * Mastered 'Sit, Lie Down, Turn around, Paw, Wait, House, Kiss, Cool, Nose, and Come Here' – a true pro in following commands! 😎 * Rarely barks! Even when she does infrequently, she stops barking when she is told to sit. * Has a gluttony tendency and must be fed separately when with other dogs. * Occasionally nips with a hope to stay more when the foster father gets her out of his bedroom. Occasionally nips defensively with scare when he has toenail clipped.  * Comes even from a distance when you call her while slightly bending your kneels. **Health Condition** - Completed heartworm treatment. 💙 Foster's Instagram : @victor_victorydog

Story
Meet Volt⚡️ Volt was found at Korean city shelter, where he had lived for a long time without a chance for rescue due to lack of space. When his health began to deteriorate rapidly with significant weight loss, he was urgently rescued. * Interaction with People: Volt is initially shy but allows gentle touches. Once he warms up, he becomes very affectionate, always staying close and wagging his tail enthusiastically in the mornings. Although getting comfortable with strangers takes him some time, a slow and steady approach helps him open up. * Interaction with Dogs: Calmly approaches dogs of similar or smaller size. May become intimidated by larger dogs and avoid them. They can be jealous, so careful supervision is needed around other dogs. * Interaction with Cats: He is slightly fearful of cats, so careful interaction is necessary, but he does not show aggression. * Separation Anxiety: Very attached to people; tends to howl and bark for about 20-30 minutes after family members leave but is currently undergoing training to manage this behavior. He can stay quiet if kept at a distance from strangers. * Potty Training: Prefers outdoor potty. Rarely makes a mistake indoor. * Hygiene: He enjoys being brushed and tends to doze off during grooming sessions. He cooperates well during baths. He is not used to tooth brushing but is currently getting accustomed to having his mouth handled. * Walking: The dog enjoys walks but can pull on the leash when excited or encountering large dogs, sometimes barking if frightened. * Car Sickness: Initially restless but settles down and can fall asleep after a while. * Intelligent Volt can perform tricks like 'sit,' 'lie down,' 'wait,' 'give paw,' and 'hello'! * Possessive over toys, may bark if other dogs approach while he's playing, requiring attention to manage his behavior. **Health Status: Finished heartworm treatment(needs to be rechecked on January 2025)

✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ Meet Tree 🌳 Tree was discovered living in an industrial yard where she gave birth to Eunhaeng and her siblings. The workers at the yard fed her, but one day, Eunhaeng was hit by a car and urgently rescued by Adogs. Tree was subsequently taken to a shelter. Eunhaeng has since been adopted by a family living in Abbotsford, BC, and fortunately, Tree was also rescued and is now receiving care at ADOGS Center. * Interaction with People: Tree is affectionate with familiar people, often approaching for patting. She is shy around strangers due to limited socialization. * Interaction with Dogs: She plays better with male dogs and may show aggression towards similarly sized female dogs. She is shy around new dogs. * Separation Anxiety: None; she manages well alone. * Potty Training: Currently living in ADOGS center, Tree only practices outdoor potty. * Hygiene: Unfamiliar with baths and nail trimming but is learning. * Walking: Unfamiliar with walking on a leash, gradually being introduced to it. *Health Status: Finished treatment for heartworm infection. Re-check is needed on January 2025

However, If you suddenly pick her up or rush at her, she will be very startled, so approach her cautiously. * Toward Dogs: Gets along well with calm dogs without any problems! Please do not submit an application until you are ready to bring a new furry family member home. Expect your references to be contacted shortly after submitting your application. We adopt out to homes in WA state, but require that you are present for the meet and greet in Newcastle, WA. Our adoption fee is non-negotiable. The adoption fee is due on the day of adoption in the form of a check, Zelle, or cash. We no longer accept PayPal because of the percentage they take & their fees but if the potential adopter wants to pay the fees we will accept PayPal. The call was put out for the need from several commercial breeders who needed some of their dogs gone, at a cost of course in the middle of the midwest. Of course they always want money for the dogs & of course once we know about them we are not leaving them & do what we have to do to help them. These innocent souls lives was instantly changing in that moment & only for the better. They were one of the very lucky ones. On this day we rescued a total of 17 lives of mums, dads & puppies including Ernie & his siblings. His sister Missy was already adopted & Ernie is with Burt his brother who he is fostered with. Now the real healing, love & devotion could begin & show Ernie how he is supposed to be loved & adored in a loving forever home just as they are in their foster home. Ernie & his friends & siblings were bought back to the WA state where he is now so happy to be here & can’t wait to find his new loving devoted forever home. In the corgi world of puppies, Ernie is such a gentle, sweet, goes with the flow aloof little guy just as his brother is Burt. We have rescued many corgi’s & puppies but both of these little gents are so sweet & easy their foster family said. Don’t get us wrong, Ernie just as his brother Burt has his spurts of energy where he will run & play & be very goofy. Ernie is the smaller one of the brothers. When you pick up Ernie he snuggles into your neck & will just stay there until you move him to show him around to see what’s going on. This little chap is now loving life in his foster home. He now knows what toys are & loves playing with his toys. He has been learning to go potty on material potty pads. At first he did not have a clue about anything at all but has picked up things very quickly in his devoted foster home. He absolutely loves his foster siblings & brother. He is extremely sweet but is very loving & a very cuddly little chap. He really enjoys snuggling with you & we know he adores being picked up & held & carried around to see what is going on. He adores being kissed & hugged by his foster family & being a free spirit doing his own thing. The reality is, the foster homes are his real first experience at being in a home, with a tv, bedding he can snuggle up in, a roof over his head that’s not outside. Ernie is a wonderful eater & we know that he is obsessed with food with the amount of weight he has put on in his loving foster home with the good nutrition he is getting. He eats a clean diet meaning, raw fruits, vegetables, grains & proteins & is on supplements. He adores comfy beds & big comfy blankets because again the reality is, this is something he did not get to experience ever until he was rescued. He currently sleeps with his brother Ernie as they are fostered together & you will find them snuggled up together their foster mum said. He absolutely loves to sleep in the bed with you too & will snuggle up with you in your nook. He is such a very innocent puppy who just wants to be loved & to make up for his past. He loves everyone & is so very sweet. He is accepting with being bathed & groomed & tolerates the hairdryer. He would still need to be taught to walk on a harness & leash. He is a puppy & we have not taken him out anywhere. He still needs to learn his puppy manners. Ernie rides in the car well & considering the only times we know of was when he went to be sold & when we got him & going home & to & from the vets with us & his loving foster home. But he does absolutely amazing in the. We are looking for a crate free home for this little lad only. Ernie as you can imagine spent the first part of his life in a caged environment. We are also looking for a forever home for Ernie where someone is home during the day or he can go with his people wherever possibly he can go with them. When they find someone who treats them as they should be treated & loves them they get so attached to them. Ernie is looking for a forever home who will cherish him & love him as he should be loved & be patient with him & never give up on him. Ernie has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes in the rescue & he is currently with his sibling in his foster home. He will be found snuggled up with his foster siblings. He absolutely must go to a forever home with a dog or dog’s present in the home for him to thrive in. Please do not apply saying your neighbors have a dog or family members or you will take him to places where there are other dogs. That will not work, another dog or dogs is mandatory along with a fully fenced backyard. Ernie is roughly 11 lbs & he is roughly 8 months old & ‭a pembroke corgi‬. He has put on a lot of weight since being in the rescue in his foster home. What he is mixed with we are not sure. We treated him for coccidia & giradia as we do with all puppies. Male, he is neutered by our wonderful vets, he is microchipped, up to date on his shots, including DHPP, bordatella, leptospirosis & dewormed. We did a fecal on him as he was a poop eater & tested positive for giradia so we treated him for girder. We have spent far more on Ernie with paying for him from a commercial breeder. Bringing him to WA with his travel costs, his transportation to WA. All of his medical care in WA & Omaha etc & bringing her to WA then his adoption fee comes close to covering. Ernie has not been around cats since being in the rescue, but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together & we have had him around small children & he adores them but we do do not recommend small children nor cats though & it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children & cats. We were not there when Ernie was conceived so we do not know who his parents were & it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think his breed is. As with all of our rescues & Ernie’s friends & siblings he will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is Ernie potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond. We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training & not just say they will when applying. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Ernie & going through our process and have read his listing fully to the end & are wanting to adopt. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on. Or you waste this rescues time, will remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview & a virtual home visit via WebEx or Zoom due to covid & followed by a meet & greet & if it’s a good fit, up to our discretion. We will only be accepting applications for Ernie who understands his needs & that meet all the requirements for the special sweet little Ernie. Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives & please do not submit an application if you are not ready to adopt. We also cannot respond to every application unfortunately. Ernie has an adoption fee of $1585 & is ready for his truly loving forever home & compassion & understanding of what he has been through.

The activists came and saved me and I can't wait to come to America and find a family to love and care for me forever.  Approximately over a million dogs a year are slaughtered to be eaten.  I am so lucky to get a one-way ticket to Seattle to find my new family.  Take me on car rides, walks in the park, and I will become your best friend.  I get along well with people of all ages, gentle kids, and other dogs.  I will do best with a loving family that can give me lots of love, and affection!  On all overseas adoption, we highly recommend our pet rescue dog trainer who will help train your new pup.  My adoption fee of $1,695 will cover my spay/neuter, DA2PP shots, Rabies, Bordetella, Deworm, Heart Worm Test, Microchip, Boarding Fees, Health Certificate and airline transport cost from Korea to Seattle.   A GPS tracker or Apple Air Tag is required for all adopted dogs. You can bring your own when adopting or you can purchase an Air Tag from us   We cannot guarantee breed or age. The adoption fee is firm and helps save the life of another dog needing rescue and our other dogs in need of medical care.  Donations are always appreciated to help pay down our vet bills at Greenwood Vet.  Ginger's Pet Rescue is a non-profit 501C-3 organization.  The adoption fee is donated to the rescue and is tax deductible.   Please e-mail   admin@gingerspetrescue.org   for an adoption application.
