Silly as can be Jenny is now about 10mo old and weighs approx 25lbs. She is clearly a Corgi mix but with what, we don’t know. This sweet girl has come a very long way in the last few months. Due to being hit by a car (we assume), she almost lost her life. She had numerous broken bones, along with some other stress to some nerves at the base of her spine so we thought she may not recover. Our specialist recommended that we amputate her tail to try and help the healing process, and it worked! Her bones and nerve endings have healed, and she is now ready for her own, forever home. She is a very silly, happy girl that runs and plays with her foster siblings, with no restrictions. She is now also house and crate trained. Jenny loves to learn new things so she must have a person that will continue her training. She absolutely loves to play with other dogs so another dog in the home is a must. She’s also great with the kitties. She is doing great with her leash training and loves to go on walks or even light hikes, but because of past injuries to her back legs, running or jogging on concrete is not an option. She must have a 5ft or higher fenced yard and she should not be left alone for more that 5-6 hr intervals. I was still young and do not exactly remember what happened but I got rescued and have been living in the shelter ever since. I can be a bit shy in the beginning and it could take some time for me to get to know you. But if you offer me some treats🍪, I will gladly take it.
